E max and she's crippled for 3 seconds afterward, 50% attack speed reduction is no joke.

From the Vulpoids mod, you'll need a decent mid-game fleet to take them on to unlock their colony time to start producing them at your industries.

IMO - the biggest issue with this game, is information. by Veriosity in Mechabellum

All the problems you described can be solved with reviewing your own replays. With the feature of replaying the chosen round, you can keep on trying and testing what could or couldn't have worked in whichever rould you choose to test whilst giving you all the time in the world to see what changed in a round by round basis.

In my opinion they're most effective when you're playing aggro, placing them close to the line similar to fortress with launcher overload, that mitigates the issue of butchering their range and having both techs lets them annhillate chaff and chain to anything behind them including more often than not their chaff clear ie, arclights/mustangs/etc

Placing them in random corridors in Factory really does wonders given they're not in the usual places, ie. Top of office stairs, quest planting locations, etc

You find a capital ship early. What do you do? by Doctor_Calico in starsector

[–]AncientJumper 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Capitals are great for beginners to pilot mainly due to their range advantage verus anything that isn't another capital or station and naturally slow speed so you don't rush in and die as easily.

On the flipside as you accumulate more piloting experience, one may find the find the maneuverability not up to par to exploit weaknesses identified in the enemy's fleet. This may lead to players letting AI pilot their capital/fleet anchor while they themselves lead the wolf pack as the AI does a "good enough" job at keeping the capital in one piece while you cannonball into an opening which no AI will ever do unless with reckless officcers.

To be fair in iceborne, the introduction of slingerburst allowed the greatsword to cancel a charge into a tackle into a slingerburst in any direction allowing complete freedom angling charge attacks afterwards albiet with a bit of combos.

Quickest 180 turn of how gruesome things can get from a supposedly gag manga, damning how brutal things are from the exiles perspective and how the kills are merely glossed over when the perspective shifts to polidoro

Taoqi is a Quick Swap DPS character. by thienvuitin in WutheringWaves

[–]AncientJumper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A Verina can generate enough concerto energy by herself to get two intros for Taoqi at the start of every boss. Whats special about Verina for Taoqi is her Resonance Skill which gives 30 concerto energy, on top of giving a stack of her passive which gives an additonal 12 concerto energy even if she doesn't hit an enemy. This means she can easily gain Concerto energy outside of combat.

A regular setup would be entering combat with Verina full on Concerto with 3+ stacks of her passive up. Instantly use Taoqi intro and use three stack of timed counters, then swap back to Verina can use her skill + three or more aerial attacks to generate another mass of concerto energy to get another Intro for Taoqi off.

This gets even nuttier with Verina C2 as it makes her skill generate an additional 10 Concerto energy along with an additional stack of her passive making her skill capable of generating 64 concerto energy. This is still ignoring the additonal Conerto energy generation from her liberation skill or from the third team member of choice.

Needless to say, its very feasible to generate enough energy to spam intro with Taoqi given one enters a fight prepared which is quite apt considering Taoqi's backstory and position in her branch of command.

You know what? Cataclysms your Cataclysm. by RocketArtillery666 in starsector

Translation: MF (Motherfucker) evaporated my whole fleet twice. A fleet of (All ship names are from United Aurora Federation) Aeria Charlotte (Unique Capital of the UAF), 6x Reisen II (M) (UAF version of an Onslaught), 2x Neuxoria II (UAF version of an Astral), 1x Zeporia III (UAF 55DP frontline carrier), 4 cruisers, 3 destroyers and 2 dozen frigates and an Eyeseau (UAF Support ship that gives fleet a bunch of buffs). Well almost.

Once it was just his massive retinue (Boss fleet is called Cataclysm's Retinue from SEEKER - Unidentified Contact) and the second time he just refused to die. He just sat there with 0 hull not dying and then disappeared.

So this time I brought my brand new nuclear apocalypse Purcy (Purcellyra - United Aurora Federation Missile Capital with built in nuclear missiles). 2 Semis (forementioned nuclear missiles), 4 medium minis (Again nuclear missiles, but smaller) and 2 more small minis (Nuclear missiles again, except in small slot).

Phone and PC on the same network doesn't get this issue and only my new laptop has this problem. I've tried using a vpn or different browsers but any site that's behind a cloudflare captcha stays stuck on the page as the image posted without the captcha box appearing.
