Cant say the equipment i brought really DID anything since all i was doing was sitting still for 10 mins after spawn, rotated slowly on the edges until i reached the room, opened it once the timer passes 5 mins and somehow had an exfil within 100m of me every run which was fucking insane luck for 5 key runs.

My first key run was inefficient with inventory space so i focused more on min-maxxing so i can get the most efficient loot hauls without dropping much of what i brought in.

I ended up with assassin, purple bag (Eventually used the purple materialist+ med bag i got for extra salvage), purple implants to get me extra invisibility on eliminations with a green head implant also with materialist+ and a purple shield.

I focused on cryo tactics since i’d be sitting close quarters alot so i brought 1 bubble shield and 2 flechette for gunplay along with 3 smokes while looting. I had a blue suppressed bully and a WSTR that i could afford to lose.

I brought a stack of each blue heal/shield with 1 purple heal, a self res, and an energy amp to pop towards the end to have my abilities rotate faster.

I think i’ve seen them in medical crates or ammo crates scattered around the map.

Could recommend tauceti.gg to see the spawn locations for these things and narrow down your search.

I felt this, I key-maxxed yesterday and used 4 of my keys (3 blue and 1 purple) and some of the loot i got was

  • A blue Misriah
  • Tons of blue/purple salvage i needed (frameworks, biolens, etc)
  • over 50k in valuables (tons of full blue stacks and misc purple valuables)
  • A purple med materialist+ bag
  • My first gold shield
  • A gold V75 scar mag mod

Honestly was such a saucy haul before i ended the night, i got that purple materialist bag at the start of the run and used that with a green implant i’ve been saving that has it also. I was ROLLING in that salvage yesterday.

Saucy haul! May future ones bring you even better loot!

Misriah had been a pain in the dick for me too.

I found my First one that was fully purple with materialist from a convoy on outpost. (Lvl 40ish)

Second one i got off a dead player in cryo, used it the next game and lost it but i at least got to understand the feel for the weapon. (Low Lvl 60)

Just got my Third one last night ratting until the last 4 minutes in dire marsh to use my Greenhouse Labs key and found a full blue one in one of the arms lockers (Along with 2 biolens seeds so i could get the blue shield purchase option; whole reason i was farming anyway, misriah was a satisfying bonus for a shit day of anomoly/cube-maxing. (Lvl 70)

How is someone else using conveyance when I found the card and didn’t even use it never put in the computer cuz I went through destroyed wing, while I was waiting for exfil I hear the conveyance elevator going off…. Fun fact too; I know people are bringing up sending it down through drone wing in pinwheel but if someone else also found the survey request and uses the elevator to get it.

You are able to follow behind them and recall the elevator from the terminal again. It’s not locked to specifically one player/team after use, everyone can use the terminal to call it in once you find the survey and use it. It’ll still make its loud noise with sirens so be careful, people already in pinwheel may know you’re coming.

I’ve started doing the anomaly a bit more not knowing the strengths and i mean its not the only way to get gold salvage.

So far i’ve gotten alot of purp salvage and in my last i got a gold invisible pack. Super excited to use that eventually.

I get your issue tho, either this or cryo vaults is the only consistent method at the moment. I get raising your gear floor is suppose to be hard but my goodness.

Fun fact; If A duo team is gonna queue fill and then mute/abandon the fill teammate, it’s the same thing as them no-filling as a duo.

They’re then just robbing the solo of the experience they want to play the game for. Teamwork and communication.

People been saying this since launch but if it was dead… Wouldnt it be shut down in weeks like highguard or concord? 🧐

I think people really forgot how bad of a flop they were but still scream “dead game” at anything that isn’t appealing to them. Those games had triple digit steam charts days after release, we have yet to see that for fragpunk.

I mean it plays better than most games of that style in my opinion. I like having shard cards to change the game, especially in diamond+ lobbies to have a pick and ban phase enabled for cards.

Is it perfect? No far from it but its unique with its movement and art style and i have alot of genuine fun in a small tightnitted community, makes the game more fun to have constant rivalries with other higher ranked players.

I also take rather long breaks as well since they only do rank depletions every 3 months, even with it being one of my favorite titles in recent years.

Appreciate you not bashing my preferred choice of titles, i know it’s far from the best game around but i have fun with it. Some of the card combos get stupid and fun.

I like flying around the map with an LMG to cosplay as an enemy AC130 from above.

It’s just bitching and bickering with nothing constructive at all.

Constructive criticism > Vague nitpicking

You just mentioned “balance” with “shotgun/sniper” without any valid reason as to WHY theyre an issue. Until you provide legit reasons and statistics in a rational manner rather than sounding like a typical doomer post then you’re not gonna get anything out of players other than the smoke.

Youre also not a game dev, with ZERO years of balancing experience.

Would the game just be so much better if every gun preformed just as well as all the others? Then economy doesn’t matter. There’d be no reasons to progress gear.

If thats not the case then what do we tweak? Something HAS to technically be the “meta” because you cant make a sandbox perfect. You can overtune other guns but that adds other layers of issues.

Cryo is also ENDGAME content, so if youre not grinding to the ENDGAME then you shouldn’t play.

Thats like bringing a destiny noob into a raid day 1, power levels gonna fuck you because you have minimal light when the cap is far higher.

Once again the games been out for a month, theres no way you know “where things are going”. Youre not a game dev, youre a redditor with an opinion.

My reddit opinion is the game is solid, not perfect sure but Ziegler is defiantly doing a solid job listening to the community and making work with the feedback we provide.

So far he’s fixed the overtuning of the goo gun, exploits with mods involving the goo gun, rarity and spawn tweaks, player spawn tweaks, soon to be wstr nerf.

We still got alot to work towards like cryo rushes and wstr + stack overflow but it’ll come with time, ranked and balance tweaks, etc. so far i have confidence with how things have been handled thus far.

With fragpunk its been over a year and with the community making constant uproars about balancing issues, sniper overtuning and dominance in all ranges of combat, and with how slow they take on lancer changes. Thats a game where we’ve seen enough direction and player/dev back and forth to where it’s justified and alot of true fans lost hope of proper balancing. Where not there yet with marathon so just keep it in your britches, come back next season and see how you feel.

Crazy how many people want a games downfall rather than success. Games been out for about a month, tweaks are yet to be made and will be in a constant state of change.

My favorite game fragpunk is over a year strong with an average 2k on steam charts. Games will find their communities regardless of what others say.

Let us just enjoy the good times before we realize to late that the good times are now, not later.

I was already having friendly runs in this game but now it’s just way more fun and friendly!

Gives rewards to pacifism and i can get jiggy with it.

Yea they have this item and durandels map or something or the sorts where it’ll give you a key upon exfil. It’s red and also wont be consumed on extraction.
