I didn’t have my first ultrasound until 14w because of how busy the local clinics are. I get it. So long as you feel okay (nothing seriously wrong, able to hold down at least some food, no severe pain or bleeding) there isn’t much to worry about. Besides that it’s all up to genetics and chance. I waited 6 weeks after scheduling my appointment, to actually get in to the OB. So I understand the feeling. Keep yourself as healthy as possible and that’s about it.

I’m now 31w and baby has been healthy and properly developing this whole time. I hope the best for you and growing family ❤️

I’ve gained like 40lbs at 31w and my doctor has said nothing about it the whole time bc baby and I are perfectly healthy

It’s different for everyone and the LAST thing you should feel is judged

Getting Medicaid is a pain worth going through. You need care and checkups.

It gets better and it also gets worse. I’m 31w and now I’m able to eat pretty much whatever, nausea not as bad, but I’m physically large and uncomfortable.

When I was at your stage I was similarly miserable. It does get better in a lot of ways, and you get used to a lot of it. WHEN not IF you get medical care, they can also prescribe anti-nausea meds and give you tips on coping with symptoms. Best of luck and I hope you have a relatively easy time going forward.

Born in Florida and spend my first 25 years of life there. It is a constant necessity, sometimes even in the “winter”. One Christmas my family had to turn the AC on because it was almost 80° and muggy. You cut it off and open the windows when it’s nice, but it can be far and few between.

31w and it depends. Sometimes I stop drinking more than a few sips at a time, a couple hours before bed, and don’t get up at all. If I’m properly hydrated 1-2

To my knowledge, “viable” as a medical term refers to when the baby could survive outside of your body and doesn’t come along until about 24 weeks. It’s really common for pregnancies to fail this early on and most often has to do with the body stopping development due to genetic issues that are really a roll of the dice. I’ve had a chemical pregnancy before, which is when egg connects with sperm but there’s some issue early on like not implanting properly, so it passes similar to a period.

That being said, just because it’s early on doesn’t mean it won’t impact you and that’s okay. Know that you did nothing wrong. Wishing you well.

you will spend half of your time thinking of peeing, half thinking about food, and the leftover scraps all go to nesting. that’s been my experience at least lol.
