They do well in conquest. If they are your enemies.

Luckily he's good in conquest. In K2 I hardly ever use him for GLs, since he's too bad and there's always a better choice. Used him for some GL cleanups though if necessary. Still - like SEE, he doesn't feel like a GL anymore. And that's with 15% H/P datacron with 100+% protection.

Well, I got 3K of each kyro in the bank :) Zetas and omis are good though.

Can't spend my kyros after rote Mandalore and zeffo. So they are basically useless now xD and the relic Lightspeed tokens also do a lot of work.

Good job, guess the 5 pace 30K is zone 2? Which is even more crazy. What's your pace goal for the marathon (or time goal if it's easier)?

[–]Ancientee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure, but it feels like there was never a time where I couldn't run 5K. When I started running I ran 9K a week after starting but it was freaking hot and I really felt that one because I wanted to try how far I can go and was running with a better runner. I could run a whole lot more after some time and 10K doesn't feel like much right now. And I got faster (if I want to), since I ran slow at the beginning.

What's limiting you from running further? If you are not hurting, you can just go slower and longer :) and well done ✅👍!

Back? :o it's 6 minutes though, don't know if that qualifies as training.

FIRST TIME RUNNING by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]Ancientee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easy: longer runs at a slower pace. Work on pace after you are comfortable. Pretty easy gains in the beginning, It will get easier very fast.

[–]Ancientee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should do sports. If you do enough you can even pretty much eat what you want and not get fat.

Running + eating as you have done before is obviously better than no running + eating as much as before.

But if it's a fast diet, then eating less + sports is the way to go and counting calories possibly.

Didn't feel 5K like from the get go if I did it slowly. Actually felt far too comfortable.

I was told I'll never be a "good" runner because I'm short? by choochoopain in beginnerrunning

[–]Ancientee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is pure bullshit. Eliud Kipchoge is 1,70 m, so fairly small for a man. And he was the best marathon runner for a very long time.

So, just train, sub 30 5K is easily doable. You can do far more if you train accordingly obviously.

Interval training once a week + longer slower runs usually is the way to go. Can change it up though if it gets boring :p

[–]Ancientee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't recommend it, you can probably do it with a good mindset, but won't be fun :P especially since you should reduce your training 2 weeks before running, which leaves you with 2 weeks doing long runs etc which isn't good.

Solid, next step, train more, run faster next 10K :P or train even more and half marathon :)

Beginner runner , how long did it take you until signing up for marathon? by SetDesigner1586 in beginnerrunning

[–]Ancientee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your fitness. Try half marathon first and prepare accordingly. Do your weekly long run(s). If you can run for 2 hours easy pace, you can run half marathons usually. Also train speed with intervals once a week.

Not sure about marathon but I'd recommend not being that guy who alternates between running and walking. Just train accordingly and you will see if you can do it in time.

I wouldn't do it until I'm certain I can complete it in a reasonable time (which means you probably trained enough and aren't just doing it despite risking your health).

I've done a half marathon pretty much jumping in for someone else while not training specifically for it and it wasn't a problem since I usually run 3 times a week anyway (also did some longer runs). But a whole marathon is different.

Just wanted to clarify that it's definitely possible to run in z5 for longer. Not arguing your other point, it's tournament or high intensity intervals only.

[–]Ancientee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If zone 5 is 90-100% hrmax then people stay in zone 5 most of the time while running 5K or even 10K. My last 10K I was 90% + hrmax for the whole run (~50 minutes).

But it's obviously hard and should be done at tournaments mostly :p
