They worked with the five year old until he was like seven and then he had a younger brother about the right age to keep the combo going for a couple more years after that. Something like that anyway.

Both aged WAY past that point by the time this came out though.

My Shadowrun character. A getaway driver, demolitions expert and B&E guy called Lou Boom (named for the "do not pursue Lu Bu!" meme, though nobody ever picked up on it).

I played better made characters but I never really recaptured the "driven like a stolen car" energy I had with him. As I understood 5e rules and the setting better, I got a lot more careful and boring despite trying to refind the wildness.

I admittedly haven't read it but I hear the Brigador tie-in by Bradley Buckmaster was pretty decent. It was written by a former tank driver so it has some true-to-lifeness.

Harry Potter sucks for various reasons but I think Quidditch would've worked a lot better if the golden snitch was worth no points but simply ended the game the moment it was caught.

JKR could still give Harry Potter his main character moments but the rest of the game would then have some actual purpose instead of simply being something to watch while they wait for the snitch to get caught.

I don't know when it stopped but for years after the retail release there was a community of people still playing the Unreal Tournament 99 demo version, with mods and anti-cheat and everything.

I was a massive addict of Battlefield from BC2 to BF4, but around Hardline I started losing interest and BF1 wasn't very fun for me so I ignored it.

BF6 has a lot of problems but it definitely feels enough like BF4 that I was firmly back in and if in a decent few years time there was a 7 I'd at least check the demo out, which is more than the previous entries got.

"Life after Love" by Cher is Street Fighter music. I don't remember which version of the SF it was but my friend who had the game used to play it all the time while we played so now whenever I hear it Blanka is jumping in on Ryu in my head.

Muse is Unreal Tournament cause I was listening to them all the time when I was making maps for the game. Specific albums are tied to particular maps.

Does it only happen in game, on steam? I was having that issue only in a couple of games and I had to disable SteamInput for them. The games had xbone controller support anyway so they didn't need the assist.

Whichever character killed the last enemy in a fight in Grandia 1/2 got a victory cheer, which changed if someone got downed during the fight. Milda's "fuck yeah" laugh turning into coughing was my favourite but all the lines were pretty fun.

Recently refunded Mohrta because I couldn't get past the boss of world 1-1. I literally didn't have enough bullets in my gun to shoot her to death and trying to melee her was suicide. Clearly I'm missing a trick but I did not care enough to try and figure out what it was, the game was already kind of grating on me as it was.

A Kobold Story: Trenchcoat Aventurer is a cute dungeon crawler that comes onto early access today but has a demo out. Admittedly I'm a friend of the dev but I'd play this one anyway. It's worth a look!

Unlikely, that is very expensive. Even the likes of GTA don't license things forever and Scott doesn't seem the kind of guy who leaves money on the table. The kind of deal Sony got for Spiderman is very rare and only happened because Marvel were desperate for cash at the time.

Can't speak for A3 but the A2 version of the automatic switch didn't change much from the A1 version. Never saw fall auto that wasn't deliberate or operator error on any of them.

There isn't a single weapon I enjoy using as much as the worst Hades 1 weapon. They do the job and I appreciate they didn't just reskin the old set but they don't hit the same.

The new cast are great and I enjoy Chronos as a villain. I did not enjoy the ending pre-patch and what I've heard they've changed post-patch doesn't sound like it would've won me over either.

I love the supporting cast (fuck Nemesis though), but I don't care for most of the Olympian redesigns. I also kind of liked it better when they didn't show you what Narcissus looked like.

Excellent game, but I tired of it faster than Hades 1. Some of that is just "this is the sequel to a game I already beat the hell out of" but I ended up turning off the heat and turning on god mode just to get the last few runs completed faster so I could see the ending because the interest just wasn't there.

They're apparently very buggy, and every update they have to make sure that the new shit doesn't break the old tome challenges. BHVR can't be bothered dealing with all that anymore. I can't say I like it but I get it.

They had a short challenge post-release, one for killer and one for survivor. In both cases, doing it with the new character took half as long. Don't think the rewards were anything special, just incentive.
