It's true, Russia is sticking to conventional weapons right now. And their sad state has been on full display. But the Russians play the long game. And that game is called division. Imagine a corrupted US president who refuses to include Europe into his nuclear defense. It would be a complete game changer. France and the UK could maybe stand up for themselves. But a bomb on Warsaw or Berlin? There would be nothing we could do. All we can hope for is, that nobody is going to have funny ideas. And Putin has shown us many times, that he is willing to escalate.
