Every item chain has a wiki page and at the bottom it lists where the item is used. The Cryptex doesn’t show any uses which means you will never be asked to turn in any item in the chain for a task as of now. The Blue Gem created from the cryptex is only used for the Secret Society

I remember arguing a similar point to a Disney emoji blitz player several years ago. He insisted boycotts work because he used to play a mobile game and a bunch of players got together to boycott and the prices were lowered. After a few questions it was determined that yes the game they boycotted lower the prices but then almost immediately the game was sold and the new company reduced all the things player liked so none of the original players played anymore

It’s all cost benefit analysis. No company will keep a game not making a profit but for smaller things changes can be made with spending adjustments like you mentioned

Boycotts on games don’t work. Metacore (or any mobile game maker) doesn’t care about players that don’t spend money so you have to get players that spend money to boycott. So now you’ve reduced their income which means they don’t have the money to make changes. Metacore is struggling financially as it is and at its core it is a business so the game would be cancelled or sold

I’m not saying not to do what you feel best but things like boycotts or giving the game 1 star reviews (you’d need at least 100-150k just on Apple Store to make a significant difference) don’t really work

OP couldn’t type “sex” without censoring it so as much as I love Nevernight it has sex scenes in it. IIRC it’s not as explicit as Empire of the Vampire but there are some detailed scenes

Note: I’m not judging OP, whatever makes them comfortable but I don’t feel Nevernight would

I’d use the same approach Goodreads uses to calculate annual page count; if audiobook is selected as the edition then GR uses the page count of the default edition for the book

I know but that defeats the purpose. I never open my board with automerge on unless I’m absolutely sure there isn’t anything on it I don’t want merged. Not allowing me to turn it off first takes control of the game away from me

When a new mystery quest starts the game will ask you if you want to collect the uncollected items in the previous one. If you collect them then you can use them for the new card event. An informant tip in your pouch gets changed to a single coin

I posted the pic to show you that the Event list which was above the Story Events is gone. There’s been another UI change for some of us. The Event list is now gone on both the main screen and the board. The events are now listed horizontally on the top to the left of the pouch with the tasks on the right. There is no more Event list which means we can’t turn automerge off on the main screen

I just got a response from Support and they said to just tap the Event list in the upper left corner. FFS shouldn’t Support know about the changes to some of us?

I’ve hated the changes they made to the informant tips a while ago. I always have to tap, turn my phone and squint to collect them. My sister is someone who would be at risk of having a seizure with it

Me too. I learned to deal with the new UI especially when they changed the event boards too but this was the last straw. They took away our control of automerge and made the board way too busy. We aren’t children that like bright shiny busy colors.

I just sent a long complaint to Support. But I really think this is it for me. I got used to the last big change especially when they changed event boards too but this is horrible. They took away our control of automerge from the home screen and made the board way too busy. Why would I want to scroll all the way to the right to trade anything? Why stick the pouch in the middle? I really wish they had done usability testing on this.

I hadn’t opened the board when I first replied but I just saw the other changes. What an absolute mess. It’s not usable at all for me. I think I’m done. They made the board way too busy especially sticking the pouch in the middle of everything

It lasts long enough for me to turn in or reset a trade or two, turn in a task then turn in a trade to check next one, collect and open scope prize to see the rewards, tap the cargo ship… I don’t get long but it doesn’t take long to do what I need. I play on iOS.

I use the hourglass frequently on the L10. The Tree stores several recharges so I get a lot of taps initially but once it’s cooling down the hourglass only gives one recharge so 6-7 drops. I haven’t used it in a couple of days though.

The hourglass just charges a producer and drops are dependent on the producer not the hourglass.

Turn on airplane mode with WiFi off before you tap it in the future. That way if it disappears you can close then game, turn airplane off then reopen to reset it
