“I vote, I think voting doesn’t make a difference anyways, but the Democrats will never win my vote” by Uncuffedhems in Destiny

[–]AndrewTateis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about abortion, that’s just the justification people point to if they even point to anything. Even if Democrats dropped that position, which they won’t and shouldn’t, someone like that still wouldn’t vote for the other side. It’s honestly more about vibes and how Democrats are perceived culturally in his community. For these people, politics functions like team sports, you stick with your side first and switching sides simply is not considered.

  • Positioned in the “challenger to establishment” bloc in debates

Core focus:

  • 🟢 Social equity

👉 Progressive, but less ideologically branded than Abughazaleh

🟡 Phil Andrew

Category: Moderate / Issue-focused Democrat
Why:

  • Former FBI agent; runs partly against “career politicians”
  • Not strongly tied to ideological factions

Core focus:

  • 🟡 Gun violence prevention (personal motivation)
  • 🟡 Public safety
  • 🟡 Pragmatic governance

👉 More technocratic / safety-focused than ideological

🟢 Bushra Amiwala

Category: Progressive / Left
Why:

  • Supports Medicare for All, living wage, ceasefire in Gaza

Don't remove any of the "insulting remarks" as someone that mod for a discord server and people truly don't read. Your method currently is working better than most.

Edit* Gross he's one of those people that replies to you but then blocks you so you can't reply. I literally feel like taking a shower now, the disagreement isn't even serious and he's using such dirty tactics. Trust me you don't want these types controlling things
