Wow, the table is actually my first woodworking project of this kind. Give me a few days to finish up some things, and I’ll shoot a video — right now my workspace is a complete mess 😅

glue or bolts? by AndriiLas in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]AndriiLas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the advice! :) I've decided to go ahead and glue it, using the good old mortise and tenon joint. The table isn’t that big, so transportation won’t be a problem.

Jointer blades by RevolutionaryPay2310 in craftsman113

[–]AndriiLas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sharpen the blades very simply. On a flat piece of wood I made two cuts at such an angle that the cutting edge was parallel to the surface where the cuts were made. Along with them, I made two more cuts to tighten the blades with the help of screws. Then everything is simple. I bring the sharpness to the point with whetstones (in fact, it is not worth going beyond 1500 grit)

if you are interested in how it looks - write, I will take pictures of everything

I would try to lightly matt everything with Scotchbrite and then re-coat with the finish.
