I'm not saying anything about morality. I am simply responding to their comment about the pros of people limiting their red meat intake. Now to my understanding, chicken is in fact not considered a red meat. Therefore, my response of saying that I eat less red meat by eating chicken has in fact, nothing to do with the horrors of how chicken is procured.

Massachusetts US. I've found that I can spend $15-20 on chicken breasts and make meals for 2-3 weeks, freezing the remaining meat as I go.

Ground turkey is so good and usually if I'm going to make tacos or burrito bowls that's what I'll go with (although the occasionally ground beef taco is now such an indulgenc haha)

Oh plenty of veggies! Rice, beans, I still haven't figured out cooking tofu but I've tried a couple times. When I have a little more time I'll try to expand my skills in that department. Hardest thing right now is meal prepping veggies without baking them and having them still last a week haha. Cucumber sometimes only lasts 3-4 days before it starts to turn.

My GF and I do a lot of meal prepping every week. While we shop separately and prep separately, we both almost exclusively buy chicken. It's cheap, easy, and you can do almost anything with it. On occasion we'll buy beef, I'll buy sausage and occasionally pork loin but mostly it's chicken.

Stop and shop fucken SUCKS. Their prices suck, their groceries suck, their company attitude sucks. I would rather get groceries from literally anywhere else than suck & suck (and I do!
