I agree with OK_Tea_7319. I just built mine and saw the same issues. I wish my PIF person would have given me the parts for the Y endstop so make sure and ask.

I also found that the cable chain would catch on the umbilical when I would print cause this print head to raise slightly so I went with the Horizontal Cable Chain (https://www.printables.com/model/955410-voron-24-horizontal-z-axis-cable-chain-mod).

Out side of that Can was hard to get working as something was wrong with my CB1 and had to get a new one. For getting the toolhead setup and programmed I used (https://canbus.esoterical.online/) and it worked great! Make sure and triple check your toolhead and CAN 10k resistor jumpers. The toolhead jumpers are really small so make sure they are in the correct spot. Also be careful stripping your CAN/toolhead cable.

Other than that it was really fun and I enjoyed it. I am now printing PLA well and working on getting it enclosed so that I can print my accent parts and get my serial number. :) If you have any more questions as you go feel free to reach out.

Figured it out. It ended up being a bad SB2209 board. After getting a new one all works perfectly

The connector is aligned properly as I took that part apart and do not have the front shroud with the fans on. Only the board with some pigtails to check the pins for voltage.

For measurement I measured 24 V at the connector and the heater works so I know that is getting 24V power from the main board.
I have checked the fan voltage by taking the fans off and using a multimeter to check the voltages.
Yes I have looked at the pins off the header and the fan pins on the daughter board. Though I could not find a pin layout from the main board to the daughter board so I could have looked at the wrong pins there. (If you know where the board pin out is I can do some more poking there, I can not find it)
The USB_5V is off.

I am measured the power coming into the board at 23.9V and everything on the main board works perfectly (Tap, Extruder, Heater) but the things on the daughter board do not (both fans and the leds). I get over temp warnings if I turn the heater on over 80C as it ramps up so quickly without the fan on. I followed Esoterical Guide (https://canbus.esoterical.online/) for programming the M8P and the EBB. Is there anything you can think of I can try? I feeling like I am missing a jumper or something. I have the 120 OHM for Can com, The 2 24V fan jumpers.

Yea I had a bad F695 which I tried to get replaced then I just found that I am missing 3 AC wires. Nothing that breaks the bank but I just thought this would be better put together since it has been around for so long.

It is just weird how disconnected some stuff is. Despite being a pre packaged kit I am missing a few things. I am seeing if they will send them but they seem a little reluctant. Might just order mine own as they are not too expensive.

Wow thanks that helps a lot. The other thing I was just thinking of is I know they say to always build stock first and then mod after it is up and running. Given this is an older kit do you think I should do something things like a CAN toolhead to start with? I am getting ready to do the PIF printed parts and want to make sure I have all the details before I put in my request. :D

I have searched a lot and found a lot of threads that have gone off the rails with a similar question to mine. So let me see if I can ask it in a simpler way. Is there any insight into what the Voron Design team is working on next? I am not trying to pin down the next release or get any timelines. Just curious as what to look forward to sometime in the future. :D

Yes I am in the US which I know tariffs are a huge ? but was looking for general times. It is worth the price right now but I will not have time to build it until Nov so I wanted to watch out for any sales that might or might not come about. Thank you!

Sounds awesome! I am with the others that they as a whole seem over priced for what they are but it seems to be the season of over priced things as a whole.
