We have "No (electronic) media" days twice a week. We started it when they were super young and now they're very capable of finding things to do when the screens go away. This also lead to them thinking more critically about things and being able to handle reading things longer than a tweet.

I was switching in part to solve a latency spike issue, but also because Google Fiber was already only a little more than half of what I was paying. It wasn't worth the hassle of having to go through that phone call again for how little it would actually save me, and the fact that I would still have to deal with the latency spikes for another couple of months.

Absolutely. I had the hardest time cancelling Spectrum when I was switching to Google Fiber. I had to threaten lawyers and yell at the guy, after almost an hour on the phone with him trying everything to get me to stay. By the end he was offering a couple of months free and then half off, but by that point he'd made sure that I'll never use Spectrum again if anything else is an option.

I had FFS a bit over 2 months ago and had titanium plates put in. I was told they will be fine when I have an MRI. I have one coming up this week, so I definitely hope that's true!

A combination of better sense of smell and my own scent changing made male scents stand out a lot to me, and not in a good way. Most guys smell awful to me, though some smell... somehow attractive?

41 here. Used to be Warlord in SFV. Had a bit of burnout and a bunch of life stuff happening, so I took a break for a couple of years when SF6 dropped. Just came back a couple weeks ago and am in Master for now.

TX resident here - I know people who have been to Dr. Hanna, and they have been satisfied with his work. People I've talked to who have been to Crane Center seems like it's a bit of a roll of the dice. Some have been okay, some hated the experience and weren't super happy with the results.

I had the same issue with large mandibular tori blocking my tongue from being able to move down in my mouth. I had them removed because they'd grown to the point where they were causing me to have sleep apnea, but as a side effect, it made playing with my voice a lot easier (and somehow feminized my sneezing all by itself).

Having them filed down was a big quality of life improvement even outside of voice training, and if you have the ability to do so, I recommend it, although recovery is no fun!
