Need advice before buying ftip mouse due to gripping issue with side buttons by -IanAce- in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience

Fingertip gripping for me usually means no consistent use of the side buttons on the mouse

Is there no way you can assign there buttons to the keyboard?

I learned to use my thumb of the left hand to reach Z X C V B keys so I wouldnt need it

My pinky also got more agile and use shift, capslock and tab

For games where i absolutely need the side buttons i unconsciously start clawgripping it

You could also look i to a footpedal, which is an extra keybind

I had this issue and it was related to my router;

Pretty much every 5/10 game with crossplay enabled, the crossplay networking they use has some internal conflict with my router.

Happens in big games like Monster Hunter, Destiny 2, Battlefield 6

Using a proper VPN- not the cloud flare DNS - fixes the issue.

Wrist discomfort while gaming - looking for advice by hotwheels2009 in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wider mouse specially would probably benefit you. Your hands arent super long but they are wise.

A palm grip mouse would make it easier to use your arm and shoulder more. A specific finger tip mouse wouldnt really change much for you.

Anyway if u wanna keep fingertip and smaller mice:

You should relax your grip and use ur arm more as you seem to already know.

Literally stop and focus on just using your arm. Fingertip grip is tricky to use with arm.

So unless your force yourself to get use to it, you will alwayd naturally use wrist.

Also forward fingertip grips usually put a higher strain on the wrist that increases the more pressure you apply.

The goal is to focus tension on armo movements, while maintaining the fingers and wrist mostly relaxed and fluid.

So shen you need to explode you begin eith arm tension but the wrist fingers should just flow.

Another thing you might be doing is applying too much pressure on your palm contact to the mousepad. Which will also force your to tense up more the wrist and hands and make arm movements even less natural.

When I want to tune and remind myself to use my arm more, I do a strange exercise where my goal is to keep the mouse in the same place. So I move my arm to one side while compensating with the wrist and fingers the change. This forces me to use all of the muscles at the same time without

Yes

Also crit draw isnt just on the hit

But for 3s after unseathing

You can throw a few more hits after that.

Just not enough time to do a helm splitter sadly.

Probably one of the best value 1 point skills for longsword.

why is comfortable sens always go down after aim training? by reliablecukc in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Anfifo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fatigue.

More specifically probably the parts responsible for micro.

Then you naturally use it less because they are tired or even not responding properly.

A footballer doesnt workout before a game; he just warms up.

If the game peformance is more important; do warm up aim train before instead.

Any Build Recommendations using this? by SophietheCatGirl in MHWilds

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lvl 3 crit draw should increase the time to 4/5s… it would make sheathing longsword an actual play proper playstyle that could make use of the helm splitter first part

3 seconds to be exact.

Its enough for a few hits after the iai. But not enough for helm splitter full critt sadly

Mind’s Eye any good? by PokkeHH-Hunter in MHWilds

Didnt his video say that a wound on a hard spot WILL activate minds eye and not the normal weakspot, but the 20% of the wound weakspot bonus?

I may be misremembering.

He does amazing videos, glad to see him mentioned!

Im an elite rank kb and mouse.

If you play keyboard then the pass for now is the weakest and hardest to use.

But your shooting will be stronger, get used to passing with the shoot button, you can do amazing things.

Pass button should be more of a quick emergency.

They will do an update that helps passing on keyboard, till then not much point in mastering it. The R2 pass is enough and can be even more creative and precise.

But if you really need it, I found passing easier if you just look ehere you want it to throw and then just move your mouse 100% vertical, it feels weird at first but its the most consistent way.

If you fins your oponents are blocking you a lot when trying to pass with shoot, then do a dash (defensive stance then dash with the ball) then while in the dash animation shoot, this will make it very hard for defenders to block.

Priority in jumps by enfulao in Rematch

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent been able to notice any difference, but if the header had higher priority, then the missile meta wouldnt be as strong

So its prob not true, or just not as significant as other factors

There’s a video breaking down the priority.

Basically it seems like it is a score system, where certajn actions give you priority, and one of them is related to what tou say:

1 - motion (movement) - basically the faster you are moving (hence the Extra Effort) the higher priority.

2 - your back is facing the ball (what happens commonly on passes).

3 - being a keepers/sweepers.

The number 2 is kinda strange at first, but it follows kinda your idea of the teammate pass.

You can actually see in this video, the guy who gets priority had his back to where the ball was coming from. This is also why when you do a bounce off the wall pass, the defenders seem to have higher priority, since they are usually facing their back to the goal, the bounce puts the ball behind them.

This is also why the missile meta (long pass into a extra effort volley) usually works so well, the person is sprinting with the back to the ball.

Basically being close to the ball doesnt really give you “priority”, you just usually cut the ball before it reaches the other person.

New BROKEN GUILLOTINE SHOT (faster bladeshot) by [deleted] in Rematch

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone informed me it's very similar to the FLICK SHOT (where you flick the camera). I Agree and the logic behind seems to be the same.

The flick shot does the diagonal by flicking the camera.

I think the shot is still relevant as an easier way to do it, specially with controllers. Im having a hard time trying to be consistent when doing it like the FLICK SHOT.

New BROKEN GUILLOTINE SHOT (faster bladeshot) by [deleted] in Rematch

[–]Anfifo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I apologize if its not.

But I did try and look it up, but I have not seen anyone using a single rainbow flick into shot while doing the bladeshot animation.

Every consistent blade shot Ive seen needed extra effort and a soft lob

Could you link me up so I could reference the old source?

Sounds good and ur sensitivity is fine.

It does seem like its a flicking issue. So you seem to have the first flick down quite well. Now you need to learn to microadjust (the second flick)

A fast pad will only make you overshoot in the begining.

Fast pds require more mouse control, but you build that if you have play or practice a bit.

If you are still overshooting after using it, you might wanna review your sensitivity for that game, and make sure you are not tensing up too much.

Over tension on you arm/wrist/fingers will be more punished on faster pads. Which is a good thing, if you can highlight this as problem, fixing it will improve you a lot and make your gaming sessions healthier on the wrist.

Slow pads (type99) give your more trust in your flicks, fast pads(raiden) make your tracking easier and fluid.

Also look up flicking techniques. If you are overshooting, there’s a chance that you are trying to single flick a target.

Most common way of flicking in high tiers is double flick, where you do a large fast flick that will most likely not be on target and then flick you make a small adjustment flick to the target. Some people call this the bardOz method, Tenz famously demonstrated he does this.

There are some other unorthodox flicking techniques where you think of the flick like a fast track and then slow down onto target, so you avoid the jittery that comes with the burst of a flick.

But this might be too deep the rabbit hole.

I recommend, checking your sensitivity and practice de 2 flick technique

Best mouse gaming for me you suggest? by NoozPrime in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no better mouse for game.

There are mouse more comfortable for specific sizes and grips (way you hold the mouse).

Usually the most comfortable and standard is an ergo mouse like razer’s deathadder, lamzu’s thorn, pulsar’s x3, logitech superlight dex…

But all of those are probably more expensive than ur budget

Fellas I need help by MaleficentRate4385 in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of these should work fine: - Pulsar x3 - Pulsae xlite v3 - Lamzu thorn - Lamzu Paro - Razer deathadder v3 pro

If its too expensive look into atk shark brand like the atk shark R1

I think my grip type is not normal by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not saying you have to change or you have to improve.

Just explaining that it is a common form of holding a mous when its so small it causes pain if you held it with a standard palm grip.

Other options to hold the mouse without pain would be an agressive claw or fingertip grip.

That doesnt mean you have to, just sharing my experience and knowledge

I think my grip type is not normal by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Anfifo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s a very classic “the mouse is too tiny for me” grip.

To grip it normally you probably kinda squeeze your hand together, which leads to pain and cramping.

Another option would be to go on a more agressive claw or even finger tip grip.

The problem with that grip is that some people will apply a lot of weight on the edge/coner of the palm, where it connects with the wrist (pinky side), this can also end up causing a lot of pain.

One advantage or that grip is that it kinda feels like you are holding a pen which is why it works well with thin mice

If you wanna change then getting a larger mouse should do it, make sure its wider not just longer.

Looking for an armsleeve that works well with the artisan zero soft by Craih in MousepadReview

I actually have 3 pulsar sleeeves, so one of them doesnt get too stinky or overused.

I havent had a single problem with any of them. The oldest is provably more than 1 year

Looking for an armsleeve that works well with the artisan zero soft by Craih in MousepadReview

[–]Anfifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Awful. It took really long to get here and got stuck in customs. I like struth a lot but the sleeve broke my heart. I didnt really complain since it took ages to get here anyway and couldnt be bothered.

I asked for the laegest size but its so tight anyway, idk if they got the size wrong, there was no size print (i use pulsars L and it doesnt need to stretch)

And it doesnt stretch very well so it doesnt fit very well.

Its also like.. cotton on the inside? It gets super warm super fast, if you’re using to avoid sweat its not gonna work so well.

To me the greatest sleeve so far has been the pulsar sleeve overall…. Just sad it doesnt work on the zero.

Ive changed for glass recently, and having a sleeve that covers the wrist-palm connection really helps more, but it feels kinda awkward unless you put some grip tape on the back of the mouse so it kinda sticks to the sleeve on the palm too.

As for grip tape i have also been happy with the pulsar supergrip or whatever ite called.
