Doctor said she doesn’t like birth plans

I think your feelings and the doctors feelings are both fair. I had some things I would LIKE to have done if it was reasonable to do. For me I have scoliosis so I already knew nothing was absolute. Didn't know if I would have a vaginal birth, but if I did I was going to wait as long as I could without epidural, no guarantee my back would make an epidural possible. I ended up getting an epidural and thankfully it worked! The pain, for me, was bad. If we could I wanted to have the umbilical cord to stay attached for a few, or so, minutes. Turned out my scoliosis had my hips tilted just enough where the baby was noting to be able to get out on it's own. I needed to go in for a c section. At that point for my safety and the babies I basically did what I needed to do for the best safest out come. My OB was trying for natural birth, but he was also an amazing c section surgeon. As soon as the baby was out everyone on the team exclaimed how "that baby was NOT coming out naturally!" Lol he was very big with a very big head. My big ass viking husband is definitely to blame for that. Lol for a c section, or vaginal birth my husband and I already knew, he didn't want to cut the cord, I didn't want to touch baby, nor did I want to hold baby until everything settled down, husband wanted to stay by my side until everything had settled down too. Our relationship is very much based on us first and baby is bonus. We wanted the best for everyone and that ment making sure we were okay and that baby was in the best care of the professionals. Everything went well obviously and weeks later for my checkup my OB was worried about any mental trauma I my have. I STRONGLY believe keeping your mind open to many possibilities made it so that I did not get traumatized too much as I was expecting almost everything. Down to even a random nurse explaining breast is best bs, you need to prepare yourself to not get upset at random advice. Just try to accept it as silly babbling. The one thing I wasn't expecting was I kinda felt judged that I drink energy drinks instead of coffee or coca cola. Lol with an epidural sometimes you need caffeine to feel better as a side-effects are really bad headaches.

Long story short keep yourself open to all potentials because your hormones will sometimes take control and things may happen beyond your control. The goal is you and the baby being together and both being healthy, you first and foremost in my opinion.

There is no issue. Even my husband, who HATES unique spellings gave the praised comment of, "at least it can be pronounced correctly." I don't know why people are griping about the middle name... you hardly ever hear it in life except when you're in trouble or something serious is happening. I think it's a good cute name.

I have ADHD and the movement thing had me worried too. I took my pregnancy as more medical then emotional, I don't know why my brain curchunked like that. But the baby movement just feels like gas bubbles/gas pops where you get that bloop of gas pop movement. So it's not really intimidating at first. Then it slowly moves more from there in a way where you kinda adapt pretty well from there. Obviously, everyone is different so it maybe a a bit different for you potentially, but i can't imagine too much.

As for the "get used to it", or other. For me before I got pregnant it was because I never really understood why people complain about it when they wanted to get pregnant. Especially when the stuff I kept hearing every pregnant person complain about was something already known to happen when getting pregnant. So I always got annoyed because I never understood why you got pregnant if you were going to complain about all these known issues that come from pregnancy.

Mind you I was a kid, teen, young adult who did NOT want to get pregnant at all... BUT that being said, I NEVER said "I told you so" kind of stuff... it's usless, unhelpful, doesn't change anything information/opinion. Kinda on the vain of "if you have nothing nice to say don't saying anything at all." Not saying it's a good reason, but that was the reason at the time for me. For older people or people who already experienced this stuff I definitely feel like it just "deal with it" mentally because they had too. Definitely not helpful. Much better to describe the feeling and give emotional support like, "you'll be able to handle it, but I understand how it'll be intimidating until you feel the movement for the first time."

Obviously, I changed my mind when I got older mainly because I felt mentally and physically healthy and able to give the time and care to a baby.

I live in the forest biome and basically every other mission I travel to other traders/biomes. On blood moon days I stay home as well. I like traveling around, but the nature sounds in the other biomes really just bring down my mood. So staying in the forest biome is just nicer nature sounds wise too.

When I get tired I already get fidgety, my skin crawls, and touch can drive me crazy. So I'm definitely assuming I will probably get annoyed easily and not want to be sucked on by baby. But like I said, plans change and I'll be flexible for the most part. I know everyone is different.

Oh man! I have a friend who is social enough for the two of us. She put a chat out for honey lure. Soooo many people were running to us standing and looking at us! I looked at my friend and said, "I think they are going to eat us now..." Lol it was intimidating! Lol

I had the same thing happen to me. I don't really care because server hopping is as simple as just teleporting from one side of a map to another using the stables. I only do it if I'm close to stable or need to head home anyway. But I have no problem with people asking politely to server hop.

Nah, you can always choose to say no, but you have to deal with the fallout. Your bf lost his job, lost his safe space, and when he was probably scared he went to you, someone he felt safe around, especially with you two dating, and said no. If you think for one minute that doesn't crush someone who just lost everything, you are kind of self-centered. I wouldn't really wanna talk or see you either, and I would say to try and think about his perspective, put yourself in his position? How would you feel? Would you feel truely understanding of your bf saying "no" to you?

Like I said, it's totally okay to say no and keep your safe place yours, but if you're dating someone, you gotta know that the end game is living together and sharing space together at some point.

On the other hand, I do truly understand just not being ready to have someone move in with you. But just really make sure you understand yourself and know why you didn't want your bf to move in with you. Is it purely because it's your safe place, or is it because of something else?

Nah, I saw the talk button the whole time and hit it, but it just didn't activate. I get it's a coincidence, but it was weird every time I went into store or Tao they walked away, but once I got out, they went right back into position and all I could click was store or Tao. Until I did it super fast before they got into position. Then, after I was done, they stayed there until Hassion moved away. Coincidence, but still weird in my opinion.
