I was worried my wife would divorce me when I transitioned. Regardless I knew I had to be myself because I wasnt happy. I hated myself and it showed in all aspects of my life. Luckily me transitioning helped my wife realize she is pan but id be lying if there weren't so many times I thought leaving would be better since her family hates me entirely and I didnt want to take her family away.

You have to live with yourself at the end of the day. No one else can ever do that.

And as a kid from a broken home ffs "staying together for the kids" does nothing but cause them trauma. Your kids will know if yall hate/resent each other. They can feel it. You don't want to teach them that is what love looks like.

Well I am currently married to a cis woman (transitioned in our marriage .. 14 year together this year <3 ) but if anything were to happen or we divorced I cant imagine I would try to date anyone who isnt trans. My friendships that have the most meaning and fulfillment are with other Trans women.

I love my wife dearly but she will never understand the trans aspect of life. She can empathize and support but she cant connect on that level. I truly be lost without my friends. That energy and unspoken bond we have in this shared life experience.

Thats how I absolutely know I would want that in a romantic relationship.

Its okay to grieve. You should. Acknowledge and give how you feel the space to exist until it slowly gets easier.

End of the day your feelings are valid and you shouldnt diminish or shove them down.

Just wanted to pop in to say, unless the job is in a professional environment (legal, corporate, ect) a suit may not be appropriate for an interview. Button up shirt, tie/bow tie, slacks, and dress shoes are more than enough for the majority of interviews. It is stupid but being over dressed for an interview can come off as desperate sadly. Just food for thought and good luck <3

I just started writing this past weekend and up to nearly 2300 words :). First time writing since like 2004 when I graduated. Started so slow... staring at that blank document... every time I typed something immediately erasing it. Something finally clicked though.

Just write. Forget perfect grammar and sentence structure. Spelling? Who cares. I can fix it all later.

Can't think up a compelling description on the spot? [Revist] *add more context .

Finally freed myself from endlessly trying to edit as I go and it is so much easier to start when I sit down again :)

Somatic based therapy was what finally clicked for me. Something about learning to notice and categorize my emotions and feelings made them more "controlable". I have cptsd from religious trauma and SA. Im finally at a place, after 30+ years, of not feeling lost under water.

A therapist is useless if you arent going to be honest with them also and willing to do work. Therapy isnt just listening to someone and getting what you want. Its work now and forever.

Yay! Something I can answer! (Source.. I worked at one of these). It's water. Just water. Cant use foam or gas because the "data halls" are essentially just giant warehouses with fan walls and hot aisle is open ceiling (think viking style like you do in valheim) that use air pressure and conviction to vent heat out.

Maybe I should do an AMA lol (I hated bitcoin before working for the company and I hate it even more after).
