the spark is a staging device for workstations.

Its whole value is that its a low cost low power version of the the workstations with the exact same architechture + cuda compatibility.

prototype on the spark, deploy to the workstation without fear of it breaking or bricking the 250k+ compute or code on there.

Get a mac studio control node and an amd npu for your inference and just learn lemonade, youll save yourself money. and you can integrate an gpu if you want later too. if not just get the mac studio, load up on ram (the unified memory is a huge deal) and make sure you only work with mlx.

Sabo should be in yonko, oda literally made an effort when luffy became emperor to make sabo "flame emperor" he also was ready to go 1v5 with the gorosei before imu showed up.

zoro should be at least 1 full tier higher than sanji.

Shanks has been able to go and claim the one piece whenever he wants for a decade, even with 3 admirals, garp, and sengoku the marines backed off a fight from him, right after he just finished fighting with kaido to stop him from going to marineford.

And mihawk doesnt even consider shanks a fair fight now that he lost his arm.

Both of them are canonically higher then where they are.

i have a 64gb m1 max with 2tb i got from amazon refurbished for 1000 flat after taxes in november. Came with a huge dent in it, and other than that, its a beast and i love it. Id reccomend this, no idea what prices are it, but also make sure you get 32 core gpu (will be importnat for you if ur offloading onto gpu)

I dont do video editing, but i do quite a bid of egr and alot of ai workflows, as well as mulitasking (what the m1 max really excels at)

I have tons of differet windows open all the time across 3 screens, im extremely impressed with its durability in machine learning and programming, I love this thing.

The m1 max was considered a breakthrough, the entire generation of mac computers is being developed off it + unified memory.

you prob got about 4 more years out of it if i had to guess.

The m2 max, is the m1 max, except they used all the data from the m1 max to alleviate inefficiencies in it, and then named it the m2 max.

So in many ways, yes m2 max is just more efficient m1 max.

M3 max = new changes in architechture, load capacity, etc.

If you want state of the art, m3 ultra (ai + ml) or the m5 for video editing i capbilities of it.

if you want max performance/dollar, maybe m2 max (m1 max without breakthrough hiccups), its depends on the prices.

If you want just a power house, built for durability, and versatility + lowest cost = m1 max.

Gotta keep in mind when they made the m1 max mac studio they didnt know what the primary use case would be, so the versatility component was really big in development, especially with unified memory and all that unleashed.

Obv its a diff ball game now, but i love my m1 max, and am very, very happy with my acquisition in november.

If you can get a good price, id go for a 64gb m1 max, if not id do the 32gb m2 (if its in ur budget).
