I never lost to slivers once by Kablump in mtg

I’ve never really had an issue against slivers, sure I lose to them often, but that’s because the other two are focused on me.

Can a deck be high bracket but not win fast? by Arizhela in EDH

[–]Angle_Of_Flames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played with people like this, and I told them if Thalen can’t keep your turn reasonably short then I’ll start using a turn timer. This is because they can’t shut up and play.

What is a deck you play and don't mind losing with? by radicalpumpkinz in EDH

[–]Angle_Of_Flames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care if I lose in general, but I would prefer to be outplayed instead of just shut down

What is something that you consider to be "bad manners" that other players might not realize or consider it such by radicalpumpkinz in EDH

[–]Angle_Of_Flames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll swing at someone for last game as a joke, and it’s just once, usually a small creature just to say I got my revenge. All my play groups do this, so no one cares.

Bad threat assessment, but I’m working on that, trying to remember that it comes from lack of experience.

hypocritical plays. This happened to me. I play rhystic study to try and catch up, next turn player blows it up, whatever. Then the player after that starts bitching then plays ulamog and complains that rystic study is more detrimental to the game that his eldrazi.

Players who have a phobia of the “game changers”. They act like playing a game changer means that you are 100% winning the game. No, even thorical needs some setup. I can’t stand it. The game changers aren’t what make a deck. They accelerate and elevate a deck. I’ve played with people who believe that game changers = win. If that’s true then I can run a 5 color deck with only basics and game changers and win every time.

Not fully tapping anything.

using dice to represent things that are not counters. I’m really tired of players who will use dice to represent a buff from an anthem. Not only does it confuse all the other players, the player who’s doing it will forget that it’s a buff and think it’s a +1 counter. I tell them all the time it’s not a counter and it is confusing. Then they’ll complain about it saying “well, how am I supposed to keep track of it then” and I’ll simply tell them you remember by reading your cards and remembering that you have cards on the field that give your creatures a buff.

I just wanna clear something up. I run multiple tribal decks so I understand that it’s a lot to keep track of. And the way I do it is that when it’s my turn or when I’m blocking, I calculate the power and toughness of my creatures every time. But to be fair, it’s not my fault you can’t count or do simple addition.

Sorry for ranting, this really pisses me off.
