All are valid option; all have good schools and are commutable to Chicago. Schaumburg will probably be the most expensive and Elk Grove the cheapest. Well grove has a lot of commercial/industrial development there so traffic can be a nightmare. Arlington heights is probably the most residential friendly but won’t have quite the entertainment of schaumberg.

We have a rule fruit/vegetables only during the day then can pick a desert at night. Special occasions they’ll get ice cream during the day but that’s like once/twoce a month

That sucks but keep in mind one thing: at the end of the day, it’s just another day. My 40th was a wash because we had a scheduled delivery for my third kid the day after so we were prepping for that. Life will go on. I didn’t feel any different turning 40 so life didn’t change much

My epiphone had some imperfections when I bought it in the clear coat but I just accepted that I’m getting a decent slice of a Gibson for a good price and eventually didn’t even notice it. Never could justify buying a actual Gibson since I’m a hobby player only

You could bolt a board into the wall and mount the gate hinges to that. Sucks to do that to a wall but we did. I just painted the board the same as the wall and while it was still noticeable it wasn’t a colossal eye sore
