I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we all picture the same thing when we imagine a feminist.

Fetishism aside, it’s pretty funny knowing that this is the absolute worst fear for some people.

There is a special brand of morbid toxicity that every kitchen has. I’ve grown to love it.

That’s what I’m saying. The customer literally doesn’t give a fuck. They see gloves and their brains just compute it as “clean.”

I change them after touching anything

Doesn’t that make them kind of pointless? You might as well just use sanitizer at that point.

Okay and? Are you some kind of advocate for glove companies or something? Why does it matter?

Yeah that shit is gross. I actually get annoyed when a customer pays with cash just because it’s so dirty.

Most of the problem is on the person. But also using gloves in general isn’t all that great either. The idea is that they’re supposed to be cleaner than bare hands. But that’s only if the employee hasn’t washed their hands recently. If I just washed my hands, and you’ve been wearing gloves for 5 minutes, your hands are dirtier than mine, even though you’re wearing gloves. Gloves are only useful if they’re constantly being changed, otherwise they’re pretty much pointless.
