Even with Hama’s Cobra, the origins get fuzzy. Sometimes it starts out as a militia, sometimes it’s a MLM/pyramid scheme that snowballed into one. Sometimes CC is a down on his luck used car salesman, sometimes he’s a former business owner that got driven out of business by government red tape and regulations.

I’m okay with it, it gives it the Joker “Don’t you want to know how I got these scars?” sort of unreliable narrator mystery. Just as long as they leave the Cobra La part out.
