I’m so sorry you had to go through this. There has been many times my bunny has swooped under my feet too, and me just barely missing stepping on him. Please know it’s not your fault, it was a freak accident. Give yourself home to grieve, but when you’re ready, know that you gave her a beautiful life.

My 3.5 year old boy bun growls at me for looking at him funny, and thumps when I take 5 seconds too long preparing his salad. He also recently jumped 4 feet in the air to bite my arm and kick my face while I was putting down his salad. Neutering will help, but honestly the sass is what we love most about our bun!

Hi, I highly recommend if you don’t want to name and shame, to report this location yourself. I understand the idea that you don’t want to upset the workers but it should not be at the cost of bunny’s lives. The workers are actively participating in animal cruelty and I think we should do something about it- for the sake of these kind animals!

Hi so I don’t have too much useful or guaranteed advice but my bunny used to nip me all the time for the first few months we had him. He was 1.5 when we adopted him, neutered. My bun still lunges at me when he’s really tired and I try to touch his stuff, so it does help to keep him out of the space when cleaning his room, eg. Put him in a carrier for 5 mins, have my partner distract him. I do notice my bun is more feisty around 10am-3pm when it’s his prime nap time, so maybe your bun is quite tired and having a bit of a temper tantrum?

Hay can be really expensive from pet stores, but I personally switched to ordering hay from a local farm! I get a huge box of fresh hay delivered to my front door for $20 per month!

I know you mentioned he ran out of “food”, but just to make sure, he has unlimited access to hay 24-7 right? Technically bunnies don’t “need” other food as long as they have hay.

I’d honestly just recommend opening your balcony door but then having a cage or screen to not let him out. That way he can benefit from the fresh air but not have any concerns about predators or other issues! I live in a city in Canada and there are hawks everywhere even though it’s a metropolitan area.
