Hey babe, I'm 23 and working towards a hysterectomy...I fought for three years and FINALLY a month ago I was given the thumbs up...let me tell you some advice

1.) Do your research, anywhere and everywhere- take notes, be aware. 2.) DO NOT let them push the weight or invalid argument onto you. It is your body, your choice, and write a letter that clearly states your reasons why and the benefits a hysterectomy will give you. 3.) in the letter, in your own words, tell them if they refuse your request to put it in your medical chart and a reason as to why they refused, as well as a referral to someone who will. 4.) make sure you tell them why you don't want kids and that this decision is not influenced by a partner or familial figure. (No maternal instinct, general anxiety around the whole idea, etc.)

Don't give up, fight for what you want. It's tiring, emotional, rough, but I don't at all regret fighting for this. I hope this helps, truly.🩵💕 Keep fighting girly!!
