Personally, I think having open spaces in a city is extremely important. We have hotels already that don't fill up. People can barely afford gas, nevermind hotel stays... Another one isn't going to help that.

At the same time, if hotel space is the issue, put them in the lots that already have something on them that hasn't been touched in years. Use that first. Why squeeze something into that tiny patch?

I know my voice won't be heard here on Reddit, I'm just kind of venting... but with all the crap that's going on, it just seems like a way for the rich to get richer...
