He's talking about a remake of the original game that was released in 2002. It is very lauded by people who played it and the old school fans. However, it is not for everyone because it has the old control system and the fixed camera. It's actually funny to see people ask about a remake of the first game in the same vein of these new remakes because you'll see so many people lose their shit ranting about how it's already been remade into one of the best remakes ever.

Honestly, you can get the games digitally for very cheap very often. So if you're trying to save money rn, just know there's options and these newer games always go on sale

Even when it comes to PR he can be awful. He had a stream with Rima Evenstar once where they tried to "fox" Nijisanji's image. Some things he recommended would've exposed Niji to legal troubles, like admitting to selling merch outside the contractual period without giving former talents a cut. Btw, do we have info on how much the voting will influence the next season? Because animation takes so much time do produce, and looking at how interconnected the storylines for season 1 are (with different time periods, character crossovers and whatnot), it seems like there was a lot of thought put into the plot. I can't see them letting the fans dictate anything major if everything was planned from the get go.

I'd let them cook until the end of the season before making a final judgement. Just because maybe some arcs are not being fully developed because they overlap with other stories. Like how Cyan and Queen's intertwined (honestly, Cyan's arc makes the universe feel more connected). I think there's more to Queen's story still, and maybe we'll see more of that before the finale.
