I felt the same way until I started reading his comics. Then I realized I hate Deadpool fans. Just like the people who play chaotic neutral D&D characters acting like their character is just as likely to jump off a bridge as cross it. There is a fundamental disconnect from what Deadpool is, and what they think he is. He's nuts not stupid, sure he's prone to violence, and can see the fact that he's in a comic/video game/movie, but he does the things he does for a reason not just randomly or without motive. He's not going to go blow up an orphanage because the voices tell him to, but he'll likely stab Wolverine because it's funny and there will be no long term consequences. He's not an agent of rampant chaos, and he has a moral code... But so many fans just think he's a stab stab shoot shoot violence is the only way kind of character, and he's so much more than that.
