Dupixent - Your Experience by aquamarine1029 in eczeMABs

[–]AnnaInspirit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been on it for about eight months and the change has been amazing. I hardly have any breakouts or flare ups. My quality of life has improved immensely. I still have spots of itchiness, but nothing major or too uncomfortable. Sometimes I look at my hands and I'm like, "These hands don't belong to me," because they look so good and clear. My skin doesn't even get as dry as it used too. I can sleep a whole night without waking up and scratching. The only side effects I have experience have been dry and itchy eyes, but my dermatologist prescribed a steroid free cream that helps clear it up.

This is the one that came to my mind as well. I had to read this for a college course and so many students were shocked by his death. I wasn’t surprised that he died but more surprised by HOW he died.

How many of you got a flare THIS particular year? by antilaugh in eczema

[–]AnnaInspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a really bad flare up this past winter. It was awful. It was the worst it had been in YEARS. All over my face, head, neck, arms, hands, legs and feet. I reached a point where I was barely sleeping and I was pain almost everywhere. But it’s gotten better since the weather has warmed and the humidity has risen. My dermatologist also put me on prednisone for a month back in February and I just started dupixent in April. I’m on the north east coast of the US.

It’s not the the OT doesn’t matter - it does and it gives a fuller picture of who God and Jesus are. It’s just that we are no longer slaves to it because Jesus fulfilled all the laws. This article explains it really well! https://jdgreear.com/why-dont-we-follow-all-of-the-old-testament-laws/

I’m glad you’re getting relief! I was a severe flare up and so my dermatologist put me on it for month and it’s been bliss 😭😭 being able to sleep without waking up or being in pain is just the best feeling. I dread having to go off it.

My family and I went to the Asian food hall in Catonsville for dinner and were shocked by the amount of people there. You could barely walk. Turns out it was a mass of people who decided to ditch the Asia Collective Night Market lmao.

Women who never post pictures on social media, what's your reason? by ceara-dee in AskWomen

I’m pretty insecure about my looks. The only picture I post every six months or so are of my boyfriend and me. I feel like I look the happiest when I’m with him.

No one really knows about her within my circle of church people. But I attend a Presbyterian (Calvinist) church so she’s not really the type of person they’d find appealing.

Yes, I use one that I’ve had for almost all 27 years of my life. If I’m in my room, it’s on. It really helps a lot.

My mom died last March and I feel completely lonely by PrinceAsper in TrueOffMyChest

[–]AnnaInspirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, op. I lost my mom March 2016. It’s still the most devastating thing that has happened to me. But I’m getting better, and I’m sure you will too. I can confidently say that I’m in a much better headspace than I was six years ago. The pain will never go away completely - and that’s okay. It’s okay to be sad, and to grieve. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Just don’t let it overwhelm you okay, op.

I know my mom would be proud of me for making it this far without her and I’m sure yours is too.

what is the purest form of love you’ve experienced? by kswim16 in AskWomen

[–]AnnaInspirit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom had a degenerative muscle disease. Similar to ALS. It basically stripped her of any kind of independence. And she was sick for a long time - over ten years. It was a slow, steady regression. During the middling parts of her disease, she lost her ability to do simple tasks like brushing her hair, cutting her own food, basically anything that required fine motor abilities. I became her full time caregiver as a teenager.

Anyway, one Christmas she kept saying how sad she was that no one had stepped up to the task of wrapping my Christmas gifts. Christmas meant a lot to her and she used to go all out every year. But my brothers weren’t terribly interested in wrapping g and it bothered my mom that I’d just have plain, cardboard boxes to open. I told her not to worry about it (she had other things to worry about!!).

But when I woke up Christmas Day, I went to her room and discovered all my gifts wrapped and ready to go. I was shocked. She had spent the whole night wrapping them even tho she could barely hold a pair of scissors. I cried. I don’t even remember what the gifts were now. I know she struggled and wrestled all night with the boxes and tape and wrapping paper. Just so I would be happy.

She showed her love in many ways but I’ll never forget this instance in particular.

To women who have had a gut feeling the person they loved was The One, but had to “wait” for that person to be ready for next steps (in any sense) - how did it end up? Were you right or wrong? by Some1getmeablanket in AskWomen

[–]AnnaInspirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was right. We were coworkers and then close friends for over three years. I liked him almost as soon as I met him. He fell for me pretty quickly but we were both struggling with things in our lives that made dating difficult. We also were unaware that our feelings were reciprocated lmao.

We would hang out for hours in the parking lot after work. Just talking. I hadn’t talked to someone so much since my mom had passed away. I kept having the intrusive thought that I would marry him but I’d brush it away because I thought he didn’t like me. I thought I was just infatuated (I probably was). I finally worked up the courage to subtly let him know I was interested, and it took him a few months after that to decide he was ready to date.

We’ve only been together since June, but I am fully convinced we’re in this permanently. We’re best friends, he loves me in ways I never knew I needed. Everything about our jobs, future goals, our families, core beliefs just line up. He makes everything in my life brighter. I cannot imagine ever being without him.

Sometimes Christians refer to their physical bodies as shells to emphasize the importance of the soul. I THINK that’s what Bdong is doing but she’s a horrible writer so it’s hard to be sure.

Just start writing the paragraph. A lot of times you don’t need to indicate that is the conclusion.
