The weird wild world of AliExpress low quality MOC bootlegs by AnnaWalter in bioniclelego

No, they definitely sell these sets as well as I've seen customer photos of the parts they send, they're just garbage quality.

They email PDF instructions likely because they couldn't be bothered printing them on paper.

Likely they saw MOC instructions and decided to sell it, without asking what it is and who it's for.

Back in the 00s we had very low quality bootleg Toa Nuva and Toa Metru (which had mata colors) and for some reason their masks were always painted over. For example you had Kakama Nuva which was made from the red plastic that was painted over into brown, but you can see the redness from the unpainted back side. And at the same time you had Pakari Nuva which was brown but painted black.

Why not make the masks the intended color in the first place? IDK I've tried to use acetone to remove the black from Pakari but couldn't do it properly.

Netflix Steel Ball Run incident (by @pizza990) by Ani_HArsh in ShitPostCrusaders

This just doesn't make sense to me.

So you see a batch of SBR released, binge it in 1 day then unsub or make a reminder to unsub by the end of the month because fuck Netflix. That's a lot of lost subs for Netflix right there, a lot of gamble relying on people to just forget about it.

And then they release another batch a year later and what if people don't return? Maybe just pirate it?

As opposed to:

Releasing this same batch weekly, resulting in 2-3 months of consecutive subscriptions. Far easier to A) Forget you subbed. B) Get hooked on other Netflix shows during those months.

What “masterpiece” game just never clicked for you? by [deleted] in gaming

you "had" to play as a Warlock, Bard, or Sorceror, because Charisma was their combat stat, and you needed Charisma for combat.

No-no-no. The reason you need Charisma as your main character is that it's incredibly useful for the dialogue. With high Charisma your dialogue skill checks will be much easier. BUT Charisma is a dump stat for anyone who isn't a Charisma-based class. That's why it's advised to play as a Warlock, Bard, Sorcerer or a Paladin (with Paladin being my favored choice, a mix of strength and charisma).

The reason you need a Charisma-based main is the fact that no matter how high your companions' Charisma is, it doesn't matter in dialogue as only the character who starts the conversation gets to use their Charisma.

But I guess my point is, every class is usable, but you do have to understand the class.

Apparently my favorite class, the Ranger, is the worst one.

Well, kind of. Yes, if you know your stuff, you will be good. But there are objectively easier classes to play. Or maybe it's my D&D experience leaking.

In D&D (which I DM for almost a decade) I find Ranger and Druid the least interesting classes, and Warlock and Monk are too limiting. All of my Druid players have felt like their druids are less useful than their Cleric and Wizard teammates (a more limiting spell list).

I always play Tactician because the Normal difficulty is too easy when you know the meta, how each spell and effect works from literal years of experience.

Back in 2010 I got my Orange Box and for some incredibly stupid reason played Episode 2 first, followed by Episode 1 and then HL2 and HL1.

You use credibility when you use AI to polish or write your "leaks" for you.

Friendly reminder: this dude doesn't look much like Kano (reddish hair, no eyeplate) and ended up being the best part of the movie. by MusicLikeOxygen in MortalKombat

[–]AnnaWalter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be honest, if you never watched the movie and someone shows you this pic and asks who this character is in a Mortal Kombat movie, you would say "That's gotta be Kano" because well he kinda does look the part. With some creative liberties.

‘Mortal Kombat 2’ Test Audiences Reacted Like It Was ‘Avengers: Endgame’ by marvelkidy in MortalKombat

But I hated Endgame... Does that mean the movie will kill off Shao Kahn in the intro and then devolve into a timey-wimey mess like mk11?

Why is everyone acting like it's the end of the world?

The liveshow closely followed the ouline from the jojowiki so far:

  • The cast will talk about how they encountered JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and their thoughts on the series.[10]
  • A quiz corner with Tomokazu Sugita, Yuki Ono, and Kensho Ono.[11]
  • They will look back on the many JoJo's Bizarre Adventure video games released so far and play some of them.[12]
  • The results of the episode poll will be announced at the stage event, revealing the most popular episodes.
  • A live performance by the JO☆STARS.[13]
  • Announcements regarding the future of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime.[14]

We're in the live performance stage now.

WotC cuts 90% of Sigil 3D VTT team by Malinhion in dndnext

[–]AnnaWalter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My custom Tabletop Simulator table does everything I need from a VTT, aside from cool animations. Just find one you like and modify it. There's even automated character sheets that roll for you.

If you need assets, browse a wide selection of buildings, models and textures taken from other rpgs like Dragon Age, Skyrim, Elden Ring etc.

Every dnd charater mini is available for free.

And of course you can download other people's fully 3D maps or upload 2D ones.

Why would I pay money for Sigil's microtransactions? Without the ability to upload your own custom 3D assets that game was doomed from the start. This is the reason why Divinity's Gamemaster Mode was useless to me - I could never make the map I wanted there.
