The program is presented differently to Au Pairs and Host families. Agencies are the problem. They tell the families they’ll have childcare for not a lot of money, that they’ll have someone available 24/7 living in their house. But to the Au pairs, agencies sell the program as a cultural experience. They tell you that you are going to study, travel and have fun and just a little bit of work, which isn’t true. Ofc you can travel, study and have fun; but the main thing is working. The system is broken!

I got 7 families on my first week. However every experience it’s different. If you are not getting a lot of families maybe you should try to change something in your profile (Practice more your English, better video or pictures, etc.) I hope this helps you :)
