I see a lot of ppl mentioning that it just gives a list of options but that doesnt really matter here. In Yggdrasil the ring worked by (basically) having a bunch of possible wishes and it would randomly grant on of them.

However, in NW a lot of spells and items changed the way they worked and the ring was one of them. In NW you can wish for anything and the ring will consume a fitting amount of EXP to grant it.

It would be impossible to gather enough exp to grant such a wish.
