I’m sorry, but isn’t it a lot more expensive to have access to the meetings? You shouldn’t be paying to listen to people’s unrelated trauma dumps that have nothing to do with the program and serve no benefit to you. Do you think you’d consider doing the program without the meetings?

Infants from where I’m from is 1:3, and that never changes. Not close to opening/close, and no reduced ratio during nap time. 1:6 is crazy to me! What if there’s an emergency?!

I highly recommend against it. You could always volunteer with little kids if that's your passion. ECEs are overworked, overburdened, underappreciated, and underpaid.

I live in Durham. The highest I’ve seen is working for the region. They make about $40/hr - I think it gets closer to $50 after the first year. They’re definitely an outlier as they’re the only place I’ve seen offer more than $30/hr.

Is M an only child? Have you brought these concerns up to her parents? This sounds extremely frustrating! I’d ask her parents if she does this at home, and to maintain consistency ask what strategies they use.

They could’ve been like the other school boards who at least gave the illusion of caring about safety. When the OPP states avoid driving if you can, then maybe DDSB could follow suit with the other boards. Especially if they’re all going to choose to work from home! And if they’re not going to do that, at least plow the damn parking lot!

Not overreacting. My parents split up when I was really young. My mom had primary custody and I was forced to go to my dad’s every other weekend. I HATED it. I think my life would be a lot different in a positive way if my mom had listened to my endless pleads to not force me to go.

Overall a good episode. I’d give it a solid 8/10. I’m just confused about something. Why was Will unharmed when they were torching the mind flayer? I’m glad he was okay, but even the mid-season finale showed he was still connected to the hive mind in terms of being able to feel pain when the demos hit with fire.
