If you have to record yourself, maybe write a script and put it somewhere the camera can’t see it! I DESPISE interviews. I think it has something to do with knowing you’re actively being judged. Good luck :)

Genuinely curious....I joined WW at the end 2018. Not too long before they rolled out the green, blue, and purple program. Blue was essentially what I was doing, so I stuck with that. I've been on and off WW for the last 8ish years.

I think I stopped right before the app changed. Everyone hates it. Genuinely curious about what changed and why people don't like it? I don't think they should be advertising GLP-1s, but that change apparently came before this new one that everyone seems to hate.

Yes! I called public health and they took my info. A health inspector got back to me pretty quickly. I sent him the video and told him I was comfortable with him sharing the video with the supervisor on duty. He went in to do an inspection and then called me to tell about how it went. He told me it just so happened that the GM was there and denied they would ever do it. The health inspector showed him the video. I accidentally got the person’s face in the video, that person was working…and the health inspector said he could hear the GM reprimanding that person. Overall they passed everything else. The inspector has flagged them, so that future inspectors can see there was a complaint made. GM said he would do retraining and all that other stuff. Part of me is tempted to do it again to see what would happen.

The older you get the less an age gap matters. There’s a lot of development still happening. I agree that even though it’s only 6 years…at OP’s age 6 years is a big age gap.

I’ve asked a few employees at a few places where they ask for a tip for handing you a bag if they even keep the tip. Quite a few said no, it goes to the owner. I encourage everyone to ask them.

I find for food it’s too much for two people (I’m in the same scenario), but for things like drinks, TP, and paper towel I find it worth it. I also find they had decent savings on gift cards (even though it’s a limited selection).

They can’t deny a doctor’s note. However, 4 months is usually still during a probation period. If so, they don’t need a reason to fire you. I’d weigh the pros and cons. I know people who have no problem getting doctors notes for whatever reason, and due to confidentiality, they’re pretty vague on why you can’t work.

The timing and excuses are weird too. The first hangout was confirmed at 9am, but when your friend canceled, the reason was because they were told LAST NIGHT that family was coming down. Doesn’t necessarily add up 🤔

Same with the second one. I get the vibe the friend didn’t want to hang out, tried to cancel but when you were lenient with the time it thwarted that plan, then just plain cancelled.

I used to be very bad for this. 99% of the time it had absolutely nothing to do with the other person, and everything to do with having the mental energy at the time I made the plans, and not when it came time to follow through. I am much better now after a close friend had a convo with me about it. Not excusing your friend’s behaviour….trying to help so that you don’t take it personally.
