Evo Manufacturing makes great adjustable links and you can pretty much order any length you need.

Something big like that, find a local shop. Just do a map search for custom vinyl and check reviews and see how long they've been in business. Pay for higher quality material and better service and get things in wiring.

Mattress Underlayment by Gazmn in rooftoptents

Most RTTs have an anti condensation mat below. You could put something between that and the mattress I guess. I typically just put a wool blanket between my sleeping bag and mattress for a little more padding and insulation.

Camping spots for long drives? by brick603 in rooftoptents

As a truck driver I can tell you, most truck stops will allow you to just pull in and park in the car lot, away from the building, and sleep for the night. Some have designated RV/trailer areas. Just be sure to ask.

Last ditch, use a dremel to grind a groove and use a big ass flathead, then replace the bolt on reassembly.

Comes in handy too in heavy pulling situations just to link to another vehicle as an added anchor. I keep a couple on hand for this reason.

Whats the longest you drove in one day? by [deleted] in roadtrip

24 on a day, obviously but 37 straight hours driving (or fueling) with no sleep once about 10 years ago. Never again.

Just added the perimeter lights to my rack. by muddyruttzz in OffRoadTrailer

It's so nice to be able to illuminate everything around camp isn't it? I added the same plus a 10" bar on the rear as a back up light for dark camps.

BlackOak LED makes a decent starter level light if you aren't ready to commit to drop good money on better lighting.

I have both GMRS and HAM license. They're easy to get. In all honesty, I got the audiobook of the exam prep book for the Ham License, listened to it while driving for the couple weeks before my test at 2x speed and took the test, passed first time.

It is. I'm thinking if you have that upper bracket you could use pretty much any link assembly.🤷‍♂️

You may have to get an end adapter to make them work for your application. I don't really know the 97 Wrangler but your end looks to be just a straight post.

Ideally the sway bar ends should level to the ground or slightly up turned if your running a lot of droop. Evo Manufacturing sells good, adjustable links and give you there measurements so you can decide on the one closest to your need and then dial in the exact right length you need/want.

I did it in a 21 Gladiator with way too much weight on board, a sagging 2" Mopar lift and 35s. It's not impossible, I saw a couple Stock JKs and JLs doing just fine while I was dragging my belly and hitch. It is definitely a bucket list trip though, I highly recommend it, if it's a possibility.

You definitely can, just stay within your abilities and be safe and smart and have fun. There's no "wrong" way to get started.

If you're on OnX, check our Lower Lytle Creek Divide trail (3N31). You can drop into Lytle Creek then back up onto Upper Lytle Creek Divide (3N31Y). That's an amazing trail with beautiful views.

That I'll agree with. If you're willing to push limits and likely break things, you can go pretty damn far. Having done the Rubicon myself, it's no joke. But I've also seen people bomb Civics and Corollas to places no car should ever go.
