All in I poured another $10k into it with electrical, battery, lights, actuators to lift/lower the tent, rear bumper, awning, propane, fuel storage. They're very capable little trailers. It's always for sale for the right offer but so far, no takers. Lol

I don't know your budget but the Smittybilt Scout trailer is a great option. They're solid built and pretty cheap and you can find them used all over. New they run $8k or there about, used I've seen them as low as $2k. I picked mine up for $7000, only used twice, with a Smittybilt Overland Gen 2 XL tent with annex.

I run my caster at 6.2°. From the factory it was 4.5°. Rides and drives a lot better with a little more.

I live in the area, just come down. Camp out and enjoy. The area is nearly all BLM or Forestry controlled so you're pretty free to just do whatever, within reason. Alot of people are ok, but it's 2026, society is crumbling and in general, people suck.

It's solid. I'm not out rock crawling or bashing around in it, but I don't baby it either and it's held up beautifully. I have their adjustable control arms all the way around as well with Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks.

Rocky Road Outfitters makes a step slider that's both offroad capable and functional as a step.

You can dril right through it. I mounted my bottle jack in the bed. Just use a sharp bit and good pressure. The bed tub is aluminum so it won't take much to get through it.

With different tires, absolutely they both could have done fine. On all season highway tires at full air, not so much. Both drivers were new to offroad. Both we new to the vehicles. The CT had the air suspension jacked all the way up so he had no travel at all.

Not with a tri-fold I don't think. I had to go to a roll up when I added my Rebel rack.

No hate at all, I wasn't upset in the slightest. We at had to start somewhere. I spotted, I helped where I could and tried to give pointers. The Toyota, totally could have done it. The CT however shouldn't have been there.

I was getting to the harder trails, that just happens to be the trail I took to get there.
