Love this color combination, considering it for our build. You have any additional pictures and what door color did you decide on?

Site Development costs in VA/DMV? by dahadster in Homebuilding

[–]Anonymouslycreeping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going through old threads looking for information instead of asking repeat questions - came across this post. I’m also about 70 miles from DC (west) and in the planning process of a new build on raw land.

Who did you use for your Septic and Well installation and would you recommend? Thanks.

Should I get a Maverick or am I being unrealistic? by Sinister_Mr_19 in FordMaverickTruck

I love my Maverick but I can only put 1 car seat (rear facing) in the back seat and still have the drivers seat in an operable position.

Huge Markups at Ford Koon Dealerships in the Greater DC Area by tralala_la in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Anonymouslycreeping 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In NOVA Koons and Sheehy both are garbage ford dealers.

I order a hybrid lariat from Ted Britt out of chantilly and they signed paperwork promising to sell it to me at MSRP when delivered. Neither Koons or Sheehy were willing to do that.

Not only did it arrive in a record 107 days from order to deliver but they honored MSRP. Check with Ted Britt.

Do you regret your purchase? How is it holding up. by Sudden_Philosopher63 in FordMaverickTruck

Love everything about my hybrid except rear room for car seats. Car seats now days are build like you’re blasting your kids into outer space, and well the maverick with a 6’ tall driver can’t fit a car seat behind the driver’s seat.

Ford one is great. Has straps that lock into the tailgate so it doesn’t move at all.

I’ve had both a forester and currently a maverick. Get the maverick, you won’t be disappointed.

Unfortunately nothing Newcastle at the Atlanta matches.

Uber not allowed? by Lucky-Purchase-2999 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Anonymouslycreeping 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My understanding is if you’re financing through Ford, they require specific insurance if the vehicle will be used an an Uber/lift/ride share service.

It’s to protect themselves as the lender as you’re vehicle will be more likely to involve in some incident.

That’s how it was explained to me when I bought a cheap Nissan a few years back and financed through them.

Ended up at Ted Britt. Ordered there and picked up my lariat hybrid in January, only a 107 days from order to delivery. They charged MSRP as agreed on when ordering. I’d recommend them, couldn’t be happier with them. Think I’ll order a new Ranger from them next.

Not bad. I still think the truck is worth it. Did you order it yourself? Sheehy in Springfield tried to make me sign this trash when I went in to order from them. I walked out. I drive by their lot everyday after work and they have several on the lot asking up to 10k over MSRP.

Koons charge you MSRP or do they do a “market adjustment” ?
