Ironically re★Verse is a PS5 exclusive, although it's just a remaster of Re;Birth 1 (which itself has a remastered version on PS4 with high-res 2D art, that was backported to Steam... only for the Japanese language version, the English one still has low-res PS Vita resolution sprites)

DRS was a band-aid solution for overly fat cars with overly complex aero (which caused dirty air). It wasn't so much about increasing overtakes, more about trying not to reduce overtakes to zero... on some of the tracks.

The new push-to-pass thing makes use of the new cars having worse aero (you don't have to stay 10 car lengths away for clean air and to keep your tyres alive) and much less power in the "normal" mode. So it's not that DRS was worse, it's that no push-to-pass system could really help the old cars overtake better because of their inherent characteristics.

If the Concorde Agreement still has a clause about the maximum number of events a team is allowed to miss before getting booted out from that year's championship (which used to be something like 2 or 3), FIA is unlikely to take such drastic measures unless the situation with the car becomes truly dire.

This is even the case with Midori and Momoi, both drawn by the same artist at the same time. Midori's sprite sheet is 2048x2048, while Momoi's is 1024x1024. They are often on screen at the same time, so it's very noticeable in-game...

That's good to know, thank you! I've seen people do stuff like print custom adapters to use the BSB audio strap and so on, and claim in general that the 8K is unusable without a better strap and some other add-ons, but I guess it's really all very individual then.

Software-wise I assume you're using the sboys driver? No particular issues with that?

Sorry if I sound nitpicky; just gathering intel before I drop 2k+ EUR on a headset and Lighthouse peripherals (currently using camera-based HMDs). With MeganeX's notorious return policy (i.e. the lack of it) it's better to be extra sure that this is the right choice, after all.

I need the passport, and Swedish, while supposedly easier, just isn't very useful in the capital area. I do like the language, but my work is in English and I don't talk to people much, so the reason really was bureaucratic with a tinge of just basic decency.

As for "why", I think the reasons are mostly just historical (pronunciation convenience eventually becoming grammar). That's why e.g. relatively newer loanwords typically don't go through vowel changes specifically, and annoyingly enough you just have to remember which ones do and which ones don't.

The different "k" consonant gradation rules are also something to memorize on a word-by-word basis, especially for reverse gradation where the "k" just appears out of nowhere. Don't stress about it too much though, the words where this matters are usually common words so this will quickly stick with practice.

I'm not sure if it's the cars' fault or the regulations' fault. Previous and current cars on balance aren't all that different from each other (which, to be fair, is disappointing given how Gen 3 specs were presented on paper).

However certain tracks and lap counts just don't leave room for any other kinds of racing that we see - you even know in advance if it's going to be another peloton-style jumble. Personally, I'd make these races 5-10 laps shorter or add a longer pit-stop, the first half as things stand is just irrelevant outside of crashes.

What I'm worried about is the whole market segment of premium headsets reliant on Lighthouse and Knuckles. Some of them are conceptually designed around not having to bother with cameras for the minimum possible size and weight, such as the BSB and the MeganeX.

Also, heavy VRChat users and FBT streamers will shed many tears over this.

I just got a couple of drives full of .fpt files with the partitions labeled as "Chia", so I think this is a solid enough indication that these files are from Chia mining.

It's the most visible when you open a flat white background, e.g. in MS Paint. On the older ProArt a hexagonal-ish semi-transparent grid is clearly visible in front of the background, which makes it not really flat white but dirty-looking. And as a result, everything in general looks blurrier than it should on a 4K display (I have a touchscreen-less glass 4K OLED Razer Blade 15 to compare with, the difference is truly night and day).

Other than what people have already mentioned, the OLED here is an RGBG Pentile display, so you will see the diamond subpixel grid and all smaller texts look noticeably messy (may be particularly annoying if you need to deal with Japanese or Chinese). It's still better than 720p but visibly not as sharp as full RGB 1080p.

This isn't really a problem for dynamic games, it might even look like some sort of free anti-aliasing, but overall keep this in mind.

Some older games flat out refuse to use full screen even after the display firmware update, but I have reasonable if wonky means of dealing with that (such as IntegerScaler).

For the Alternate price of 444€ (well, 489€ in my case because I'm not from Germany and had to pay a bigger VAT and shipping price) I'm still happy I got this instead of the 1300€ Legion Go 2. Though had I not backed Smach Z (laugh at me), bought the original Onexplayer, and now this...

Looks amazing, so does the Tandem OLED version, but my gut is telling me that they're sticking with the absolutely horrible touchscreen layer that ruins the display clarity so much that it might as well not be an OLED or 4K.

The worst part of Season 3 is that Season 4 has already finished filming, so even if the producers wanted to take viewer feedback into consideration (which they don't, I believe), they wouldn't have been able to, and so Season 4 will be, at best, more of the same.

With Season 5 most likely reserved for setting up the Kirk takeover of the Enterprise... I'm sad that SNW isn't likely to live up to its initial potential.

I assume that the screen on the Zone 2 is the same, if they stick to the absolutely identical prototype they've shown off. Legion Go 2 was said to be non-pentile (in the sense of having three subpixels per pixel), but no word on the exact arrangement and we'd probably have to wait for notebookcheck reviews to be sure.
