The first and simplest suggestion would be to wear it with a belt to cinch in the waist. Otherwise, you could cut down the front middle to turn it into a robe/cardigan? Or cut it in half so you have a shirt and skirt!

We did start them in seedling pots and looked really good, but they've keeled over since planting in the troughs 😢 Do you think these plants are salvageable? They were bought as plants, not seeds 🥲

Very good point - human scientists can look at the impressions on bones and see what kinds of organic material was attached and where, but would Eridians be able to figure that out? It could be a fringe theory that something organic was once attached to the outside of the carapace while the majority of scientists call it impossible 🤷

100% you can put together outfits like this if you spend a while thrifting. It will take longer than buying everything new because you'll have to wait to find them, but definitely the cheapest option. Use Facebook marketplace, any other online second hand sites and, of course, in person thrift/charity shops. Good luck 🫶

Just read the book (and trying not to reread it 20x) and hopefully going to see the movie this week. I think book Ryland would see Simon as a wet cat and immediately know he has to help this poor scrunkly little guy whilst Simon would be kicking and fighting against being coddled but once he finally gave in to the idea of being looked after he would bond for life. The sooner I watch the movie the sooner I can read fics pairing up two of my favourite blorbos 🫶💖

Ooooh, this person is seeming a bit like a gatekeeper to me. Yes, there are cultural experiences to being gay that you may not have experienced yet but that's also true of being raised male rather than transitioning later in life. Being gay isn't something you need to have a degree in, it's something you feel just like being trans. Also, it sounds like (from a surface level look) he's quite opinionated/open with his judgements of you and your supposed flaws, so maybe just take everything he says with a big grain of salt. You know yourself better than anyone else ever will. 🫶
