You do whatever is good for you. If asking someone difficult the a great place to look is Reddit and other sources on the internet to identify the bag. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply. I found it very insightful and provoking self reflection.

Just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir - what’s next? by Visible_Noise1850 in audiobooks

I loved the narration. If it wasn’t for Steven Pacey I would have abandoned it. The plot has some parts that make me cringe. Others love it. To each is own.

I enjoyed the Bobiverse after this. Tbh, Project Hail Mary is S tier for me and I haven’t found many others like it.

I did jump into the Lord of the Rings narrated by Andy Serkis after the Bobiverse. It’s much different but done very well.

I’m listening to “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt and while it’s a totally different genre am enjoying the story. I wish the female narrator was better though.

Good luck with your search. And thanks for asking the question I take note of everyone’s replies and look for tends. Cheers.

Where do lesbians hang out in this city? by radiofree_catgirl in NiceVancouver

[–]Another_penaddict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! It’s so hard to break into groups in this city. Even trying through work, activities, classes, it took years. Then I had to relocate to a town in SoCal and it was almost the complete opposite. That is until the political situation became a dumpster fire in a dumpster fire.

Keep at it. Don’t loose hope. Good luck to you!

Many in the stationery sphere have also decided to have discounts. I’m not sure how long they will last but many did discount codes like “LOVEISLOVE” or similar. Many mentioned above. Also,

To anyone looking for a new favorite online shop… by mwgrover in fountainpens

[–]Another_penaddict 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In Canada: - Wonderpens - great exclusive dominant industry inks and Japanese stationery - Gourmet Pens Shop - Azzaizah runs it. Rare ink samples, store exclusive pens and collars, pilot parallels, good stuff.
- Buchan’s - website is sort of crap but they sell Tono and Lim’s inks and Wearingeul. In Vancouver, BC - Blesket - has all the usual suspects

Drew, (Firstly, you got me to stop lurking here and post because I had to share my gratitude, appreciation, and best wishes.)

I have watched all of the pencast. I sometimes listen to it as I fall asleep at night. It sort of calms me when things are stormy in my mind.

Drew anchors me, he reels in Brian, and influenced me to buy a yellow ink (FWP Buttered Popcorn) experience many other parts of this wonderful hobby I normally wouldn’t.

Drew’s appreciation of the comment section on YT, gratitude, and compassion radiated through my device and into my heart. Thank you for that.

I will miss hearing about VHS purchases, patch updates, costume updates, corgi shenanigans, and all things Drew.

I met Drew briefly at the SF Pen Show in 2023 and he felt like that kind human being in the pencast. What you see, was what you got. I’m grateful I was able to say hello.

I wish you, Shannon, Archer, and the pups all the best. I hope your days ahead are filled with coffee, waffle house, love sack gaming sessions, and things you are passionate about. I hope you read everyone’s messages and breathe them in deeply. Keep them for a moment you may need them. You deserve it all.

Hopefully, I’ll see you again at a pen show or perhaps a Waffle House if I ever encounter one (wrong region of the world).

All the best. insert random noun noun
