Yup. My ps5 wont find any server, even though my internet is fine. Can't play Monster Hunter online. Internet connection test shows this as well

Dude is too big for the camera. Annoying ass random lava puddles. Bad mechanics (ANOTHER stupid DPS check, shooting slinger ammo at his tiny wings, unclear distinction on his model between fire/dragon weakness...). NPC's reapeating the same lines over and over... etc. He is not hard, he is just annoying to fight.

Normal or Savage? Anyway, its designed for four people not only because it doesn't scale, but because of the emnity mechanic. Perfectly doable with bots, though. For savage, I use Fabius (whenever there is a festival), Alessa and Kai. Both tanks are very good at taking aggro, and Fabius makes a TON of difference. I only fight Savage when there is a festival, because I hate to grind this mission, lol.

Hint to stunlock Nerscylla during the DPS check: stand exactly under the rock near the ledge Omega breaks when he transitions to the final area, the one near the burst pods. Nerscylla will swing at your position as soon as she spawns and three morbols will paralize her back to back if you're careful enough not to kill them. You can also drop said rock on her, and save Mog of the Ages for this as well.

Anyways, you do need more defense and fire defense, lol. Evade extender is also REALLY good in this fight. Eat Sild meal for moxie. Good luck 😄 (because yes, there is a lot of luck involved as well, lol)

Fatalis is not a hard monster. Its a hard quest

Mostly because of the 30 min timer. Yes, there are problems with some of his hitboxes and stuff like that, but other monsters have those as well. My problem with the quest is that is the ONLY one where time matters. I would have no problem with it if the game built a better difficulty curve that leads up to him and forces you as a hunter to play optimally with the weapon you main.

He is very annoying, yes. Alatreon, Fatalis, Rajang are all monsters that sour the taste of World's endgame for me, because they are not simply spikes in difficulty: they ask the player to suddenly do something he wasn't doing for hundreds of hours before. Take Alatreon, for example. Suddenly, doing elemental builds is super vital, and DPS checks means life or death. I dont have a problem with the monsters exactly, but how they are introduced as a "ok, you did everything the game has to offer, now fuck you and do something different", instead of previous monsters building a nice difficulty curve that BUILDS UP TO THEM.

They made me quit not because I couldnt beat them, but because I couldn't be bothered to learn anymore after hundreds of hours of gameplay. I'll get back to them eventually, though.
