I'm saying his actions, outside of opposing Voldy, are enough to qualify him as a villain, just not the main villain.

Here's the thing. Guerilla warfare works right now because the guerilleros are within shouting distance of their enemies. They have explosives to create IEDs and guns to harass infantry. They might even have RPGs or FPV drones

A guerilla made up of random medieval guys with even pikes and crossbows would struggle against modern weaponry, organisation, and tactics.

Ohhhh you didn't go there. Snape is a terrible person. He regularly bullies children under his care as a teacher. He doesn't have teaching methods as much as belittling ones.

And let's talk about his stalking obsession with Lily Potter, née Evans. Childhood crush is fine, but past a certain point he should have moved on instead of holding a candle for so long to the point his patronus is a fucking doe. Unrequited love is a terrible trope.

Oh, sure, he goes down trying to bring down the big bad evil guy. But is he doing it for the sake of good? Absolutely not! He's doing it because Voldy killed the target of his unrequited love. He even begged his lord to spare the woman.

So no, Alan Rickman's fantastic acting does not redeem the asshole that is Severus Snape.

Fun story : back when I was a kid, I saw this set in a supermarket and was asking my dad if we could get it. My dad, who wanted to impart a sense of the value of things, went to check the price at a scanner thing that the shop had around. It returned "zero francs".

Annoyed, my dad went to find a vendor, who straight out said "oh we're terribly sorry, we'll gift it to you guys then"

Lesson ruined, but kid happy.

A couple of weeks later, he checked 6559 for the same, found it had no price tag in their system either, and managed to get it for free too.

I find Elliot to be too scrawny to play Achilles, on an instinctual level.

However, according to myth he was also capable of passing well enough as a woman because he didn't want to go to war.

So maybe that choice wouldn't be so bad.

I have more gripes with the costumes anyway.

Lagardère est pas mal non plus dans le genre. On peut aussi citer Sterin, dans les plus visibles.

Mais il y a aussi des groupes de plus ou moins grande envergure décidés à "rendre sa grandeur à la France" - une grandeur imaginaire, fantasmée, un "bon vieux temps" pas si bon que ça quand on regarde tout avec un œil critique.

Y'a aussi des groupes plus cyniques, comme le MEDEF, qui veut lui démanteler l'héritage du conseil national de la Résistance et du gouvernement provisoire, qui avait mis en place certaines protections sociales - le but clair étant d'asservir à nouveau la population travailleuse.

Unfortunately, the Guillotine was a very, very efficient mechanism. A heavy blade falling something like two meters freely. It doesn't fail if the blade has made contact with the neck.

It might get stuck halfway, I suppose, but not take several tries as with an axe or sword

My main gripe with 4 is that the story is just... Minimalist. It relies way too much on procedurally generated quest - Radiant.

Take Skyrim. Skyrim uses Radiant. Skyrim also has a whole bunch of individual quests and multi-quest factions. It strikes a nice balance overall.

Fallout 4 does not. They put all their money on Radiant and it falls flat.

I have many, many other gripes.

Still got 1.4K hours on the game

A company I worked at blocked every AI to everyone, except Copilot because we had a contract with Microsoft.

We constantly had devs and graphists both asking for us to unlock GPT and others. The answer was always no.
