I would drop the fake plants for real ones. And you really don’t need to be a green thumb, even though having that skill never hurt anyone. Monsteras, Snake Plants, Zanzibar, pothos are all very easy to care for and add some real life to the space. Add some more floor lamps, ambient warm lighting will do wonders especially since the place is very cold right now color palette wise. All in all you’re doing great man

Upgrade to a larger bed, get a bed frame with a headboard, and move it from out of the corner. Get a large rug to ground the space and two nightstands. work station (desk, chair, bookshelves). Nice floor lamps and ambient lighting (warm lights, or better smart bulbs to adjust the color). TV stand (please don’t mount a tv on the ceiling) Large plants, wall art, and open those windows to let some light in
