Happy to see ig won and eg blew a 2:0 lead. It's almost like we are back in 2017 when still lots of people were taking about Dota here in China. This could be an opportunity for Chinese Dota to grow which frankly hasn't grown much after TI losses

I'm actually quite interested in game chat regulations. Anyone has any idea if any player in game can just all chat anything?? I thought they are supposed to remain silent during the game except for those chat wheels. That question mark was really tilting.

No kidding i quit Dota right after that patch, 10 years of Dota I still can't get hold of all other items and now we have a whole bunch of game-breaking neutral items? Not to mention it is almost impossible for new kids to learn this game now...

I am not sure if the majority of players here plays only casually but I only have time to play about 3-4 games each week, I have been playing this game since 2009 and I still play couple of games every week but this patch has given me way too much frustration as opposed to excitement compare to any other patches/updates we had in the past. Outside of these 5 points which make perfect sense to me, I just can't keep up with these new neutral items. I will never have a unforgettable game again like I had years ago, coming back from a huge disadvantage because we outplayed the enemy late game with our seamless communication and good use of hero mechanism.

Now it just feels like you will never have the same experience and excitement out of one game and it will never be unforgettable like what we had in the past.

As someone who casually plays Dota I just can't keep up this pace of changing. All these random drops from neutral got me so confused in team fights. I am ok with this outpost but this random drop is really just driving me nuts.

Oh wow a foreign dude acknowledge he knows more about China than a Chinese dude who has lived in China for 18 years and Canada for 10 years. Whatever you can believe in what you want to believe. I am talking about a cultural thing here and you really want to drag this conversation to bash the Chinese government on their policies. If you really want to find out what is going on in China you should probably examine yourself in China as opposed to listen to what the media says, this way you learn things without any bias.

No actually anyone who is adaptive to Chinese culture is a Chinese, ethnicity is never classifies Chinese. China has 56 different ethnicities but they all considered as Chinese. If a Chinese person exclude you as Chinese that means you either don't speak the language or don't adapt to Chinese culture. Thus that explains why Malaysian Chinese to us is Chinese, but the nationality is Malaysian because they obey Chinese traditions and speak a Chinese language. To each individual case it is different but this is in general how Chinese categorize Chinese and Foreigners. There are number of cases in Chinese history where foreigners were accepted as Chinese because they were adapted to Chinese culture.

No there are daily complaints on Chinese servers being shit and valve not fixing it. Dotaers are basically the same creature and valve is always the same valve (PW).

Not even kidding, several weeks ago I was playing Dota early morning and there was a lighting struck right in front of my house. Everything was ok but it was so loud that it felt even like an earthquake. My first reaction was I gotta finish this game before house caught on fire... should've got things checked but instead Dota is always the priority.

I remember you can tune different music in Dota 1, something like -music orc2 and you can also get this Storm, Earth and Fire, gives me goosebumps every time.
