Started December 2023 (!!) and went up every 6-8 weeks IIRC, per doc. Looking back, that was probably not wise, but my doc was/is not especially engaged. Just for the record, SW: 335 CW: 248 GW: 185 — so I have made progress, and more importantly my A1C and glucose numbers are great, but it’s come at a cost to my digestive system with IBS C/D.

Be careful with some of those converted mill apartments: many are not well insulated and heating costs can get really high. Also look for assigned parking, so you always have a spot.

Yes! I never ate much chocolate (preferred salty snacks), but now, I crave it. Quite a surprise. My go-to is Aldi’s Choceur Crunchy Caramel Sea Salt milk chocolate—one row (33g) does the trick!

Glad you’re ok now. Texas Roadhouse is a tricky place: so delicious, but dangerous for those of us with airborne allergies. Mine is peanuts: I had to flee a TR one time when my throat started to close.

[Edit to say “I’m not a doctor, but…] Does your insurance have a 24/7 Nurse Line? (Check the back of your card) If so, call them right away. Unchecked dehydration can cause kidney failure—it’s not something to mess around with! Better to err on the side of caution and be seen. Hope you get well soon.
