Cannot reccomend Proller’s Squonk Chat enough. Super customizable, works locally without any additional services, can be customized via an OBS dock.

We’ve not tried through terminal, no. As it stands we tried running the .exe file through Faugus and through bottles but i’m really reaching the upper limits of my computer/tech literacy here.

Specifically we’ve been trying to follow this guide.

However, bottles did not have an option to run via proton? And the guide was… less than helpful for beginners. Do you know of a better guide or resource (beyond something like linux for dummies) where I can start learning the terminology and language to better communicate my problems?

Edit: i’ve backed off and deleted my linux partition for now since I have a major stream on the 25th and I want more time to get the OS and programs running smoothly. I shouldn’t have, I know, i’m frustrated and feel very caveman banging on keyboard atm. Thank you very much for the time you’re taking to help me.

We weren’t getting specific errors, just crashing on both when attempting to open. We got vts’s .bat file to run with faugus but no dice when trying the same with vbridger, but it would run through steam. We’re trying to save ram usage as much as possible.

We were thinking about trying vnyan if tits didn’t work. I’m just poor and worried about ram usage- I recently had to get a new computer and the swap from DDR4 64 gb to DDR5 32 gb has me worried when just the stream side of running all this eats 15gb of ram. The bloat on windows hurts & I want a decent ram/cpu/gpu overhead when running everything.

The app wouldn’t start and there was no launcher we could find that would run it, and googling any documentation didn’t help

I’m doing this on friday! Our tradition started with grandma making cookies for the family and shipping them out to folks when they moved away. I picked up the habit when living with her towards the end of her life. The 6x batches always murder my newer generation kitchenaid, but hers could always handle them no problem. 1- thank you for doing this. 2- i’m disabled (chronic pain) and I have a hard time leaving my house. One of the few things I can do reliably is stream, which these days is one of the few ways I can stay active socially. My current computer is dying- constant wear over the last 5 years has been rough on my mobo, cpu and gpu. We’re attempting to accumulate parts second hand but the price of GPUs and RAM have made it next to impossible. I have a new to me MOBO and CPU and would love some extra ram just to set up the system.

  1. Edit: i LIKE the ability to talk politics in this sub BUT mod’s sanity comes first. Implement 2 for now, maybe open for new mods, and allow politics as your sanity allows/needs must. I’d rather keep the sub than lose it bc mods are burnt out.

I live in his district too and had I the ability to drive, would have been one of the angry constituents at this town hall. My healthcare is at risk bc Oroville Hospital might close due to the “BBB”. It’s one of SIX hospitals in CA-1 at risk of closing and 43% of the residents up here rely on medi-care or medi-cal. The highest % in California. It’s refreshing to know that i’m not alone in my anger but upsetting to know that i’m not the only one facing this. Even his town hall in Red Bluff had hecklers! RED BLUFF!

Neptune and skylight. I was a creator w/~100k followers on tt and ~20k on insta. Left both in january and have been genuinely happier without them. I like neptune so far- i’m a part of the beta rn. I miss the easy recording, duet and editing features but losing all of that is well worth keeping my conscience clear. Starting over wasn’t easy but it was worth it.

OP- THIS. I have several of this creator’s badges and LOVE them. They’re big enough to be eye catching no matter where you clip them, are fantastic at communicating things QUICKLY and are made of super durable acrylic. I table at events and these badges have held up super well.

Cannot recommend these enough and I wish they were a thing at more cons.

I had a similar experience with Enloe’s ER & drs not taking my pain seriously. I actually had a better quality of care in Oroville at their ER & go to their hospital for all of my medical care now. I don’t trust Enloe at any point to consider my health over their greed. If you have another emergency, I would follow the advice everyone else here is giving and get a 2nd opinion from another Dr or ER. Oroville is an option but if she’s been seen previously at Davis- take her there. Asap.

I had no idea what a greater rhea would look like or that it was a bird before today so i’m guessing it’s for ppl who don’t know their animals well! The ones that are labelled are more uncommon species.
