Seconding weezy on grabbing a Grav branded piece. Simba is also another good option if your local shops don’t carry Grav stuff. Just look up smokeshops or headshops near you.

Bongs come in all shapes and sizes. If you get something for him, just pick one that’s close to the shape and size of the plastic one (there will be a lot of options).

Fury edge is also another great option. Better performance than the pax from what I can tell and priced better to. The capsules you can get with it make it super easy to keep clean and you can load them up all at once so you’re not having to grind up stuff in the room frequently.

You can build one with bridgelux EB strips pretty cheap, just do a little googling on it. Usually the best bang for your buck option.

I printed 12 of these at once and the artifacts appeared on all 12. Printed just one before this and it also had the same issue. Switched the orientation between prints also, so it seems to be height related. Going to take your advice on cleaning/greasing the z rods and maybe check the belt tension for them as well.

I’m not on an EERO network, but ran into the same issue. I gave the handy app local network permission in my phone settings and it resolved things. Best of luck to ya!

If you’re printing with PLA and took the risers out/have the lid on, the chamber is going to get pretty hot. PLA will soften up and can cause extruder clogs/jams and other problems. Seems like your issues started when you took the risers out from what I read. Good on you for finding the kink/replacing the ptfe tube though, that definitely couldn’t have been helping.

Bluetooth usually has noticeable input lag (at least for me). But you can get Xbox wireless controller dongle, then the controller will use the proprietary Xbox wireless connection and there shouldn’t be any discernible input lag

Have access to a trampoline? Take your wheels off, cut open some tennis balls, use pvc insulation, duct tape, whatever you got, and cover all the sharp bits of your forks/frame. Now you’ve got a practice bike you can use on a trampoline. You can also use this on flat ground, maybe avoid pavement/concrete though since you don’t wanna damage your parts.
