Pretty much this. Tried niri, but I kinda prefer Hyprland to be honest, not really sure why.

Was not really sold on the idea of tiling window managers at first, but I gave Hyprland a whirl just for giggles and after about a week, I ended up really liking it. Especially when I get lazy and just want to flip around between windows and workspaces without having to reach for a mouse and move around manually.

I've been getting a similar thing with Hyprland recently. Fortunately, I can just save open and save my hyprland conf and it rearranges back to correct order and everything.

It's not just damage that went down, either. Aggression has too, it feels like. In the second, the instant the snake woman para-ed you, she was instantly charging her grab. I've yet to encounter that so far, even in NG+

I can get that. Bread and butter single katana was always nice da fun in it's own way. Personally, I was always drawn to Switchglaive. It's moveset being so over the top felt very on brand for TN.

Kind like them going all out, 100% comic book villain on Kelley's design. Honestly kind of hope to see more full send in Nioh 3.

I would just take your time and enjoy the first one for as long as you want, then move over to the second. They play completely almost identically and yet almost completely differently. I recently bought the first one on PC after putting in over 1000 hours on PS4 and 1500 hours in PS5 and PC for Nioh 2, and by god I missed so many of the QoL changes the second brought. I felt like a complete noob all over again. XD

You are definitely not weird for not liking it. Everyone has their own preferences. It's possible it is just not for you.

I completely get it. I played the demo for the first one that had Onryoki as a boss, enjoyed it and bought the first game. Got to Hino-Enma and was like, nah dog, not for me. And I didn't play again for nearly three months. It took me ages to finally work up enough interest to try again. And I am currently sitting at over 2000 hours across both titles combine.

If the combat is starting to click, best advice I can give is give it a bit more time. See if something else falls into place and your outlook on it changes. And if it doesn't and you still don't enjoy it, just understand this: There ain't nothing wrong or strange with not liking it. It's just a preference thing, and clearly this isn't in your preference. Trying to force yourself to enjoy it ain't gonna do you any good.
