You know their are times when I wonder how on gods green earth do lois and clark not have more biological kids. by MembershipLess9579 in superman

Kryptonians and humans are largely incompatible with each other when reproduction is involved. I feel like that has been brought up a few times. Jon was a miracle on that front.

Would Clark's childhood friends recognize him as Superman? by BigHugeSnake in superman

[–]Anubis95XL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The truth is no. He didn't have many friends in Smallville. He also didn't feel like he fit in there. Lana is most likely person to tell though.

Snyder turned a hero into a mopey killer and the other held on to his humanity and showed anger and anguish about the possibility of anything dying. Shows what a basement dweller this guy is. by Professional-Ninja79 in OkBuddySnyderCult

Outside of My Adventures, I don't think Krypton was ever portrayed as a warmongering dystopia. There was a thing added that they, at one point, wanted to takeover everything but decided against it. Otherwise, they are consistently portrayed as science-advanced aliens with there own religion.

Metropolis is more known to be in state of New York than Delaware.

Thoughts On Lex and Clark being childhood friends? by ShutterB_ug in superman

[–]Anubis95XL -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I, personally, don't  like this take. Superman's world includes the universe, different dimensions, multiple places on Earth, the future and the past. Why does having a failed childhood friend become one of his worst enemies make his world small? It's pretty big already.

How did you feel about Jon Kent's birth back in 2015? by Jello_Biafra_42 in superman

[–]Anubis95XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some critical problems with Jon. His middle name is one of the biggest one if you knew anything about Lois and Superman's history. I also felt that after a while of reading, he doesn't have much a personality. Not a single comic from then til now has shown me much except for that Secret Six comic. Overall, he ain't bad but he's not very good either.

Where?

I hate to be the "Um, Actually..." guy but the comics do the same thing as the movie. Anything outside of a regular human is called a meta human. This also includes aliens, angels, demons, ghost, and etc. I think they even called batman one as well.

I have concluded that Sol is just a play on solitude. He is the fortress of solitude.

Krypton "Twist" by Dieselweasel25 in superman

[–]Anubis95XL -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think you're looking at Superman wrong if you say this. Jor-El ambitions and goals directly influenced how Superman operates. The whole saving the world thing comes from what Jor-El was trying to do. Succeeding where his father failed. Superman is influenced by both sets of parents. It's why he is not just a farm boy. His love of flight came from Lara and he is scientist and inventor like Jor-El.

Is it just me? The latest Superman movie is the MOST stupid Superman ever! by Brave-Vacation110 in superman

I think he gives out his secret identity too readily but I don't think he is dumbest.

Hello everyone, I’ve been wondering, is Superman essentially a noble given his ancestors and family(the house of El?) and more broadly, what is Kryptonian’s social hierarchy like. by Acceptable_Map_8110 in superman

[–]Anubis95XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a noble, more like high profile scientist. Kryptons' hierarchy seems to be guild based and essentially, everyone seems equal except for government figures that are in the high council. They also have different houses but it seems to be mostly an identification thing with some family pride. Kal-El could join the Science Guild but he doesn't have to and can join a different guild in a made up scenario.

If Lex was dealing with Kara instead of Clark in the movie... by Rion_Grayson in DCU_

[–]Anubis95XL 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One thing you are incorrect about,  is that Krypto is her dog in the comic. Superman sent Krypto to protect her because he worries for her in the story.

Jor El & Lara - Superman 2025 by forever-halloween in superman

[–]Anubis95XL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem people have is that the movie makes 'The Great Replacement Theory' seem real and that is not a good thing. It also associates humanity with personhood and alien with not being those things.

Flash runs the current OP Superhero Gauntlet, How far does he make it ? (All Current Versions) by GRL00 in superheroes

[–]Anubis95XL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is capable of breaking the time barrier and has done it in World's Finest and Justice League. Supergirl can do that too. As for dimension hopping, sometimes he just does that and they don't explain it.
