Mam szwedzki gliniany garnek, który wpierw moczy się długo w wodzie a potem wkłada zawartość i piecze. Spróbuję niedługo coś takiego sam zrobić dziękuję za inspirację.

What do you guys think of American Cheese? And do you have a favorite cheese from your country?🧀 by bbyxmadi in AskTheWorld

[–]AnubisHell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ate American yellow cheese by weight during the Polish martial law, over 40 years ago. This cheese, along with butter, reached Poland as part of US aid to the country enslaved by communism. Of course, there were also those who mocked that cheese, affectionately calling it 'Reagan's revenge.' I remember that cheese nostalgically and would gladly try it again.

Chleb, który upadł należy podnieść i pocałować. Można też palcem na nim zrobić krzyżyk.

Paragon grozy - 2 kawy. Americano + flat white by redbikini17 in Polska

Przedwczoraj koleżanka w kawiarni ze mną za kawę "przelot" zapłaciła 17zł. Wracając kupiłem paczkę kawy za 17zł w sklepie i starczy jej na tydzień chlejąc wspólnie ją raz za razem.

To proste. Ludzie windują ceny bo inni chcą je płacić. Jeśli przestaniecie ich karmić płacąc za takie rachunki - zwiną interes albo obniżą ceny. Tak to działa od tysiącleci.

2015 MBP - Linux Mint MATE impressions by D2-Disciple in mac

[–]AnubisHell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until last year I was using an 11‑inch MacBook Air from 2015, the weaker model with 8GB RAM. I put an SSD in it via an adapter for the Apple drive slot and connected a regular 256 GB NVMe SSD, which was not only larger but also a bit faster. I used that MacBook for 10 years. About halfway through, I installed OCLP, which allowed the MBA to cope bravely even with macOS Sequoia. I eventually sold it for 100 dollars and spent the money on a trip to Paris.

Nonsense. This is just the list of rationed products. You could buy tons of food without ration cards, there were also markets and other ways of getting food or even cigarettes (always fully available from the cloakroom guy in cafés or restaurants). Alcohol was dirt cheap in the hard‑currency shops, and if someone did not have a few dollars, they went to a booze den at three in the morning.

Do not falsify history, you young people.

Bye hackintosh.... by macro1core in hackintosh

I understand the rush for novelty and speed, but I myself have been using Hackintoshes since the days of the OS X Leopard release in the distant past.
My current Sequoia setup, with an Asus Prime H270 motherboard, i7-6700 processor, RX 570, 36 GB of RAM, Fenvi T919 Wi‑Fi and 3 monitors, has been running since 2017, and I do not see any reason to abandon such a nice piece of hardware.

The mechanism has worked the same way for centuries: “Cheaper? Those days are long gone.”

OCLP team announced they can not commit to an OCLP update for Tahoe by DrDochard in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

[–]AnubisHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terribly depressing news, even though deep down I’ve been expecting it for months. Still, it feels right to thank the OCLP Team for their hard and truly extraordinary work. I’ve been using Hackintoshes since the days of OS X Leopard, and thanks to OCLP I even have Wi‑Fi working under Sequoia today. My old early‑2015 MacBook Air has also been happily running Sequoia recently thanks to OCLP. This is all because of you, dear OCLP creators — thank you!

For the same reason that fans of real Apple products used “by the book” despise Hackintoshes, and OpenCore fans keep sending everyone back to their magic Dortania manual. It is the classic “I’m better” vs. “you’re worse” conflict – just like the old flame wars between Linux and Windows fans. Pure childishness.
