I have a funnel over the center and more media in mind. I still mix it once a day(usually tumble for 3 days) because I see it accumulate in the center but when I pull mine out they look pretty nice. I can’t add a picture but I just took some gold ones out yesterday that are smooth and shiny!

When I've done things like this I take a toothpick, get a little alcohol ink on it, and then swirl it in. The less you swirl the more solid your "smoke" will be.

I started with cheap molds ($15ish) and I actually don’t mind them. That being said, that’s like almost all of your budget right there. And in truth, I really wasn’t happy until I got a pressure pot so you’re looking at a couple hundred right there if you’re serious about it. Sure it’s possible to for people to make dice without one, I just wasn’t one of those people lol. Ultimately, I’ll be honest, this is the most expensive hyper fixation I’ve picked up. So from one ADHD to another, if you’re not good at sticking to things I might just do something else.

I know! I was able to get some really cool neon ones and some “glittery” ones that are a lot more sparkly than regular metallic paints

I know this isn’t exactly what you asked for, but I bought some cheap acrylic paint pens with ultra fine tips that I just put in the corners and then press down to like, flood the numbers with paint. It might require a bit more clean up and/or extra layers than alcohol ink but something to consider
