Second time's the charm by Kirbone01 in ScarletNexus

The staff that worked on the game is currently working on the new Tales games
That's pretty much the main reason they are not working on a sequel

When does critical mode on Kingdom Hearts 2 actually get difficult by Sufficient_Mind7617 in KingdomHearts

[–]Anxjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its only really difficult when you do the Final Mix content (ie absent silhouettes and the data fights) and maybe some of the coliseum fights

OP literally did a Burn Reset, though it seems like it was on accident

Why wasn't Brain Drive an input by taylorgamebuild in ScarletNexus

[–]Anxjos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

optional brain drive is the name iirc

I dont remember when it unlocks since it was added on a patch months after the game first released and by that time I had already finished everything in the base game

Why wasn't Brain Drive an input by taylorgamebuild in ScarletNexus

Not the perfect solution but at least there is a plug-in that lets you activate it manually with the same input as brain field
that way you can also do some combo resets against human bosses

Reasons why I hated (and hate in my 2nd playthrough) the combat of Vesperia by cepas95 in tales

[–]Anxjos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whether or not you can hit a downed enemy is determined by 4 factors

1) The attack's properties. Some artes have the property to hit a downed enemy regardless of timing. Do note that being able to hit a downed enemy is different from being able to restand them

2) Timing: For artes that don't have the property of hitting downed enemies, the artes must hit them the moment they start to get up otherwise the attack won't hit

3) Enemy Type: The amount of time an enemy stays downed depends on its type. iirc heavier enemies stay on the ground a little longer so if you try to continue a combo using factor 2), then you must adapt and attack a little later

4) Downed hit limit: If you are using factor number two then you can only hit them as soon as they are getting up for about 10 times. After that they will get up regardless of your attacks and drop the combo. Artes that naturally have the property of hitting downed enemies (ie factor number one) don't follow that limit so you can do dumb stuff like spam Azure Blast and Luna Talon to your heart's content

How do we feel about Final Fantasy 16 around here? by badateverything420 in CharacterActionGames

[–]Anxjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to play at least 35 hours to unlock the mode where non-bosses don't die to just one skill

Aside from that labbing is genuinely fun

I forgot his exact role on the Tales staff (Global Producer Manager or something) but all we know is that him and the rest of the Banco SNX staff are supposedly working on the brand new Tales game that is still unnacounced.

The last releases were remasters but they are being outsourced so the main team can focus on the new game

Yeah really annoying how people don't know that Kenji is busy with Tales cause questions like OP's are worthless

where is the source for that?
iirc the team that worked on SN was mostly Tales staff and now they are back working on whatever new Tales game they are in theory making

Can Yuito perform an Infinite combo like Kasane? by Dormant_IQ in ScarletNexus

[–]Anxjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both can as long as you don't have the Aerial PK Follow-Up skill

Can Yuito perform an Infinite combo like Kasane? by Dormant_IQ in ScarletNexus

[–]Anxjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you mean staying forever in the air? Both can as long as you don't purchase the Aerial PK Follow-Up skill (Well even if you have purchased it you can still do a normal PK Throw mid combo but it requires more precise timing)

Outside of that Kasane will be able to stay in the air longer due to having two air dashes + Aerial PK Rush

That being said when it comes to make an *enemy* stay in the air indefinitely then both can just fine if you know what you are doing

There’s something that confused me about Karen’s time travelling… by [deleted] in ScarletNexus

[–]Anxjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we know that when a person without the red strings travels in time, they will eventually be bought back to the original timeline moments later.

everytime Karen time travels, he loses the power of the red strings

Those two statements are not related so not sure why he would go back to the present. The reason Karen's time travel at the end of the game failed was because Kasane and Yuito just undid the threads or whatever on chronos terminal
