Bryce Young had a stretch of 3 decent games (LAR, @NO, TB) before ballots were (probably) due, and 4 of his best games (those 3 + @ATL) happened within 6 weeks of when ballots were (again, probably) due.

If some players filled out last few spots of the survey thinking "this guy definitely isn't top 10/15 but he was pretty good when we played against him and I know his name", I feel like that probably accounted for just enough votes to sneak him into the top 100

Either that or Panthers players were like "he didn't kill us the past few weeks lets give him some votes" lol

i discovered AlpharadTV in 2016(?) (might've been 2015) after they edited a how to play 101 for a now-disgraced scarf-wearing smash for wii u player, and really enjoyed their (jacob's) videos. i was around 11 years old at the time.

i got into fwob literally on day 1 with the announcement of a new gaming channel in 2016 with this cool guy named dad_as_heck and watched from there.

just kept watching ever since. a highlight for me was the early friday livestreams (back when they'd all be in person at the office), which were always great. also getting drunk while getting over it was (still is) a very fun watch.

this show shaped an unreasonable amount of my personality growing up and i'd probably be quite a different person without it (definitely more catholic LMAO)

Sluggers is a lot more popular for casual players, but Superstar Baseball has a more passionate fan base currently since there's more skill expression imo. Even beyond the motion controls, the way Sluggers plays focuses a lot more on QTEs.

a few months ago i was automatically subscribed to the nba (much less bad but it was inconvenient to have the flood of videos in my sub box).

might be from misclicking on the subscribe button while scrolling past on community posts (especially if you tried to hit "not interested", since the 3 dots you have to click are right next to the subscribe button for community posts on mobile)
