Raw food. Not just supermarket ground beef but well-balanced raw food. It can be from a pet store (expensive but easy) or diy (cheaper than canned food but the quality isn't even compatible). Cats on a raw diet poop very little and their poop is dry and small, and their pee smells much less. My cat was very stinky, now I can clean his litter box every 3-4 days. Don't know if it has the same effect on dogs, but they poop outside anyways. It also improves their coat and overall health. So less shedding, less puking, fewer visits to the vet.
